Second Chance?

Kiara pov: I was spending time with Calli, trying not to think about how Mumei, Subaru, and Reine had run off, but suddenly Subaru appeared, and I quickly noticed the state she was in.

"Subaru!?" I said, in shock, that her body was limp. I put my head to her chest only to feel the coldness of her body and no heartbeat.

"What's wrong, Wawa?" Calli asked me

"Yeah Kiara, you look pale," Pomu said.

I didn't say anything. I ran out of the building and looked around only to see Choco-sensei come out of the forest. She dropped Mumei, Reine, and Selen to the ground.

"Mumei...Reine..." I said as I ran to them and shook them, "This isn't funny." I said in disbelief that neither of them responded, but they were in the same state as Subaru.

All I could think about was the three of them lying there lifelessly. It made me sick to my stomach. I moved myself to a nearby tree and threw up on the spot.

"Are you okay, Kiara-sama?" Choco-sensei asked

"No, my family is..." I lost my ability to speak all of a sudden.

I saw Fauna and Kronii approaching. I wanted to yell at them to turn around, but it was too late; they had already seen Mumei.

"Mumei?" Fauna said as she checked on her, "Kronii, she's not..." Fauna began to hyperventilate, not being able to finish her sentence.

Kronii hugged Fauna and said, "It's okay. Breathe slowly." She told the kirin, but I saw she had also lost her composure.

"Kiara, we are worried about you. What's wrong?" Pomu asked as she exited the building, and when she saw Selen, she ran up to her and said, "Eeek! Selen!" She screamed as she realized that she was like the rest.

"Selen is here!" Elira eagerly stated

"Wait, Elira, don't come over here!" Pomu pleaded, but it was too late. Elira had witnessed what befell her sister.

"Selen, you bastard, there was still so much I wanted to tell you, and I wanted to apologize for being such an awful sister to you!" Elira screamed as she began to cry.

"Kiara..." Calli said that as she finally realized what was going on, she gently placed her hand on my shoulder, sending chills down my spine.

"Get away from me!" I screamed as I swatted her arm away from me.

I looked at her in awe, not being able to hold back my tears. "I'm sorry, Calli. I sniffed

"Kiara, I know you didn't mean to lash out." Calli said as she hugged me.

"I know my golden apple. I can use it on Mumei!" Fauna said

"I can rewind her too!" Kronii said

They both tried to do their thing, but none of it worked.

"Kronini, Faufau I'm sorry, let Meimei go. Sana said I could tell she was acting tough.

"Fuck that! I'm not going to accept this; I'm going to find a way to bring Mumei-senpai back!" Zeta spat

"How am I going to tell Lui that everyone else is gone!?" I asked Calli.

"Everyone listen to me, there is a way to bring them back as long as we made it in time, but there is no guarantee," Calli said.

"What is it?" I asked

"We need to get their souls before the grim reaper," Calli said.

"We'll do it, Calli." I said

"I'm in as well!" Pomu said

"Of course, to save Selen," I said.

"Well yeah, I'm in love with Selen!" Pomu said

"Wait what?" Elira said.

"Shit, she didn't know that." Pomu said

"Like hell if we resurrect Selen, you aren't dating her!" Elira said

"You are an overprotective big sister!" Pomu argued

I began to laugh, and they managed to brighten up my mood substantially.

I noticed a paper bag thing fly over to Mumei's body; it fell to the ground, and I looked at it, but it was a normal paper bag.

"Can I help save Mumei?" Someone asked  I looked back and saw that Mumei's body had sat up.

"Omegaα!"  I yelled as I drew my sword.

"No, no, I'm the paper bag that just flew in; my name is friend; I'm Mumei's best friend!" It said

"I guess I'll believe you... I said

"Du bist sexy" friend said as they went and caressed my cheek.

"I'm happy you know German, but hitting me in my sister's body is odd—even though we aren't actually related, it's still weird." I said

Friend suddenly leaned in and pecked my cheek. Calli Roundhouse kicked him away.

"Calli, that's still Mumei's body!" I yelled

"Jeez, I've just noticed your boobies." Freind said it in awe as he gawked at Calli.

"Get out of Mumei's body so I can kill you!" I yelled

"Why are you so hostile? All I did was say your wife has massive boobs and I'd like to touch them." Friend said

"I really don't want to hurt that body..." I sighed 

"I want to help you fight," Moona said.

"Wait, let me rewind you first so your arms are fixed." Kronii suggested

"No, not yet, not until I actually save them..." Moona said

Kronii ignored Moona and fixed her arms anyway, saying, "Wait, try rewinding Mumei's body now!" Fauna said

Kronii healed Mumei's body making the injuries go away.

Mumei's tattered cloak flew in and landed on Zeta's face. She pulled it away and smiled. "One, this cloak smells nice, and two, do you think Senpai would mind if I put it on?" She asked

Zeta didn't even wait for an answer; she just put the cloak on and twirled.

"You look cute," Kaela commented.

"Thanks beb!"  Zeta said

"You look like a garbage heap!" Axel growled

"Fuck off, mutt." Zeta said

"That gives me an idea!" Friend said

They picked up the discarded paper bag and put it over her head.

"Now you won't be confused!" She said

"Now you are just Mumei-senpai with a paper bag over her head." Kaela said

"Ugh, we don't have time for this; let's just start this operation!" I said

With that, our plan to save everyone was underway, but we had to wait on some people now.
