Meaning of Tears

Iofi pov: Risu ended up passing out in my arms. I am confused. I don't understand what she was so sad about whatsoever. I've never seen her cry like she has today. Usually, she is the one that holds us all together.

"You seemed confused," Mika mentioned.

I nodded and sat down so Risu had a thigh pillow to rest on. "Tell me about it," I said.

"You seem to think that Risu had a tragic past, but that's not necessary. Her mother and father loved her unconditionally; they spoiled her rotten; she really couldn't have had a better life." Mika said.

"Then what happened?" I asked

Reine pushed Mika away and butted into the conversation. "She kept it a secret," she said.

"Wait, you can't possibly mean that?" I questioned

"I do..." Reine replied.

So Risu was sold like most of the animals here, but why was she sold? That doesn't add up according to them; her parents loved her unconditionally, so why would they do that?

"Risu wasn't sure if anyone actually loved her because when she was sold by a third party, they said her mother and father sold her. Even after knowing that was a lie, she still can't be sure if those words were true," Mika said.

"Risu is still a happy person despite her time," Moona said. "She was freed within a few days," she added.

She was freed, but was she really? She still has the same mentality as before; she still doesn't think anyone truly loves her. That isn't freedom.

I'm an alien, but just because I'm not from here doesn't mean I don't understand emotions.

"Risu cried. I don't want to see that again!" I declared

Moona and Mika smiled at me.

"You softie," Moona said.

"Shush!" I yelled, getting a laugh from Moona.

It seems everyone is acting a bit off today. Moona usually never laughs, and yet here she is laughing at something I said on a whim.

"You are funny, Iofi!" Moona chuckled

"Look, I don't want to cheer you up; I want to cheer my adorable squirrel up," I told her.

Moona had a serious look on her face again, which honestly made me relax, oddly enough.

"You don't have to do anything but be there for her." Moona told me

That's all that Risu wants is to be with me. That seems too simple, and for some reason I can't believe that it'd be that easy. Maybe it seems like it is, but I think she wants more, like maybe a present or maybe kids...

"Iofi, Risu is a simple girl, unlike this dumbass right here, so don't overthink things," Reine told me while pointing at Ollie.

"Can you read minds like Mumei?" I asked

"No, but I'm dating Ollie, so I have seen a girl who overthinks everything yet doesn't think at all," Reine said.

"Can you help reattach my head?" Ollie asked

"Yeah, we can," Anya said.

We all sat there and continued to talk. "And!?" Ollie yelled

"We said we could," Reine laughed.

"Reattach my fucking head!" Ollie yelled

"You could've just said that." Reine sighed

"Kiss me, Shachou!" Moona cried out

"Really now, Peko?" She questioned

I noticed she just randomly started saying Peko again. "You are so needy, Peko!" Pekora-senpai said

"Kiss me!!" Moona yelled

The two of them sure kissed. I honestly felt like this was going to turn into something more and that I shouldn't watch it.

They are literally making out.

"Spicy" Reine giggled

Flare-senpai looked at Pekora-senpai and smiled. "At least someone is happy," she said.

"It should have been me!" Marine Senpai cried in agony.

"Who did you want to kiss?" Flare-senpai asked

"Yes!" Marine-senpai yelled

"So both of them..." Flare-senpai sighed

"Hey Moona, you should get a room," I told her.

Her eyes stared at me, and I realized I said Pekora-senpai's thing, and Moona didn't like that.

"I was just saying that you are making out!" I yelled

"I know..." Moona replied.

"Can you keep it down?" Risu mumbled

I saw she was awake and gently petted her head. "Yeah, I can, darling," I told her.

"Are you okay, Iofi?" She sleepily asked

"As long as you are," I said.

I reached into my clothes and pulled out some nuts before popping them into her mouth. "You have good nuts," she said.

"That sounds really bad..." Anya pointed out

"I don't get it," Ollie lied.

Reine smacked her over the head, and Ollie immediately changed her tune to something worse than before.

"Risu-senpai, do you like when Iofi-senpai puts her nuts in your mouth?" She asked

"Pfft!!" Mika broke out laughing.

"I do sometimes worry about choking on them!" Risu happily said

Moona glared at Risu. "You know how bad that sounds!" She asked

"Nope, I'm sleepy!" She declared before falling asleep.

"I like putting my nuts in her mouth," I giggled.

"Iofi I would think you wouldn't continue this!" Moona yelled

"Continue what?" I genuinely asked

"Nevermind..." Moona mumbled

"I'm joking, I understood!" I giggled

Moona seemed relieved that I was joking about not understanding the joke. Why wouldn't I get it? Ollie and Risu definitely are a different breed of lewd; they're Yabai ladies, and only one of them is hot.

"You treat Risu so well," Mika told me.

"I can treat her better," I said.

"She likes how your relationship is now," Mika said.

Now that I think about it, she has done a lot for me, and all I have done is give her nuts. What do I think I can do to give her more love? I think she needs it.

"Iofi, you are a good girlfriend!" Reine said

"I don't know!" I cried out.

They all don't understand why I want to be an overachiever; they don't understand that I want what's best for Risu. I love her more than anything, and all I want is for her to call me her beloved girlfriend.
