Mel pov: "What should we do about Haato?" I asked
Fubuki just sighed. "Who knows?" She stated.
"Guys, what happened?" Haato asked
"You tried to kill Fubuki and me!" Matsuri yelled
"I don't remember that," Haato stated.
"Should we trust her?" Aki asked
"She is our friend after all, so let's untie her," I said.
"Are you joking!?" Matsuri asked
We all stared at her to show we weren't joking. Matsuri groaned, but eventually she came to terms with this and helped us untie her.
"Hey, where should I put this mirror?" Mio asked
She walked into the room with a mirror. Haato was in the reflection, but there was another girl behind her; she looked just like her, a bit creepier.
"That's Haachama!" Haato stated
"This has to be a weird mirror," Fubuki said.
Matsuri stood in front of it. "No, its normal." She said her reflection was ordinary.
Fubuki stepped in front of it, and her reflection was different; it was Kurokami's black and red variant.
"Huh, odd," she said.
Aki stood in front of it, and Mikirose appeared. "I'm so buff," Aki cheerily said.
"You're not..." Roboco-senpai sighed.
I stepped in front of the mirror, and my jaw dropped at what I saw. The others looked at me, confused as to why I reacted like this: "There is nothing!" I yelled
"Vampire" is all Choco-sensei had to say to make me understand.
Actually, I want to know why the hell vampires don't have a reflection. That makes zero sense. What is wrong with having a reflection?
"What are you all taking about? All your reflections were normal; it's just a plain regular mirror," Mio said.
"No, they weren't!" Fubuki said
"Sure," Mio sarcastically said.
Haato walked up to the mirror and stuck her head inside of it like it was a portal. "Cool!" She laughed
"Plain regular mirror... uhuh," Fubuki sighed.
Haato tried to put her whole body through, but Matsuri grabbed her and tried to pull her out, but she went in with her. Fubuki dived in after them, followed by Aki.
"Aren't you going to go in?" Mio asked
"Yeah, I will in three, two, one!" I ran and tried to dive in, but the mirror pushed me back. "Oww," I hissed while wondering what happened.
"Hmmm, maybe because you don't have a reflection, the mirror can't see you, so it didn't open the portal." Choco-sensei said
"That's ridiculous!" I yelled
Choco-sensei walked up and stuck her hand through, and then she got out of sight of the mirror, urging me to do the same as she did, and it wouldn't let me though.
"See, the mirror rejects you," Choco-sensei said.
"Well, I want to follow the others!" I cried out.
Choco-sensei had an idea. She stood in front of the mirror with me and said, "Now try, darling." She softly said, "Now that she was in front, I stuck my arm out and it went in." I smiled and thanked her before jumping into the portal.
"What took you so long?" Fubuki asked as I was passing through the portal.
"Apparently I couldn't go through the mirror at first because I lack a reflection." I sighed
Matsuri began to laugh at me, and I punched her in the face, obviously holding my vampiric strength back.
"So can we go back through?" I asked
Aki sent one of her twintails through the mirror. "Yes, I think so." She said the mirror was unfogged and showed the other side where we could see Choco-sensei and the others and that the twintail had made it.
"This place is odd," Haato said.
"It sure is," Haachama said.
We all looked in the direction of the voice and saw her.
"What do you want?" Haato yelled
"Your body," Haachama responded.
"Sorry, but that isn't happening!" Fubuki yelled
"Give me your body as well, White." Kurokami scoffed
"Well, luckily, the rest of us don't have weird alter egos or personalities," Matsuri said.
"Luckily? Lucky for who?" Fubuki asked
"Me, Aki, and Mel," Matsuri said.
"Yeah, but for us, it's bad!" Fubuki yelled
Aki tried to call back the twin tails she sent back, but they wouldn't go through the mirror. "Wait, is it stuck?" She asked
I noticed I was in front of the mirror, and only me "Matsuri, come next to me!" I said
She did as told, and the twintail flew inside. Aki realized what I did. The mirror still works that way from the inside too, so as long as it's just me in front of it, it won't go in, although it is odd that it doesn't recognize Aki's hair even though it is part of her.
Fubuki and Haato began to fight their alterselves, while mirrored versions of Matsuri and Aki appeared and began to fight, but there was no version of me since I can't get a reflection.
"Luckily, I'm a vampire!" I said
"That's nice. Can you help us?" Matsuri asked
I flew in and hit the mirror, Matsuri, and it shattered; however, another one appeared. The issue with the mirrored fighters is that no matter what one of them did, the mirror also did, which also means that if you stop, it should quit fighting.
Aki stopped moving, but the mirrored version of herself still attacked like it was on autopilot. As soon as Aki began to move again, it stopped the assault on her and moved like her.
So right now I'm their only chance to win this battle, but it seems that I can't defeat the mirrored versions as they keep coming back. The only way to win may be to leave this dimension.
"Mel, think of something!" Haato yelled
I did think of something, but they aren't going to like it because it involves me shattering the way out of here because I think the mirror is reflecting us. I decided to reach out, and I grabbed the mirror, yanking it out of whatever force held it up.
I didn't know what to do with this, but I need to find out fast.
