Mumei pov:"Oh Friend!" I called out, getting the paper bag's attention.
"What?" Friend asked
I looked at the creature that was sitting on the head of my lifeless body. I need to get that back, so getting rid of this thing is necessary.
"Mumei, you better not be thinking of hurting me!" Friend said
"Me? No why would I hurt my best friend?" I asked sarcastically
"Good, that's what I thought!" Friend said
"Mumei-senpai, you really aren't good at hiding it," Zeta said.
"Friend doesn't know what sarcasm is," I giggled.
Kiara walked up to me and hugged me. I smiled and slightly hugged her back.
"I'll be back soon," I told her.
I patted my body and picked up my dagger. "What is the most vital area?" I asked
"The neck," Fauna said.
"But that's her body," Kronii said.
"True, I don't want to harm it, even though you can heal it... I groaned
"Mumei, I'll kick your friend's ass," Selen said.
"Selen...Friend is weak, so no, you'll decimate my vessel," I said.
"Wait, are you, Mumei!?" Bae asked
"Yeah, why?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, you talked about needing your vessel back!" Irys said
"Because it's my body..." I groaned
"I'm so sorry!" Bae yelled
"Don't worry about her, Meimei; Bae is kind of dumb," Sana told me.
"I'm aware that she is silly," I said.
"What are you talking about?" Friend asked
"I forgot!" I giggled
"Of course you forgot," a friend said.
"Hey friend, if I were to rip the heart out of that body, what would happen?" I asked
A friend looked at me confused and asked, "What are you plotting?" The paper bag babbled.
I smirked and shot up and cut the bag so it would fly off my head, and I immediately had Calli make Friend's soul leave my body by putting it into the paper bag.
I dove into my body and looked around. I could hear my heart beat and smiled.
"Alright...." I sighed.
"Don't you dare leave me!" Friend screamed
"You aren't needed anymore." I told it
"You are going to abandon me!" Friend yelled
"Of course I am..." I told it
"You...worthless....grr...." Friend growled
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up..." I spat
"You are going to leave your only friend to die in the spirit world!" Friend yelled
"Friend? You are not my friend, you are just a follower, a companion, a worthless creature that I have to crush," I told it.
"How can you say that!?" Friend yelled
"I'm a senpai...I have two wives and plenty of friends, family too; I don't need you!" I yelled
"You have grown too much; Omegaα was right!" Friend yelled
I smirked. "They sent you?" I asked
"N-No!" Friend said
"You are trying to make me a pawn again, I know you are, but I won't stand for it. I am the fucking guardian of civilization, not a vessel. I am my own person, and I won't stand for anyone telling me I am not worth anything. I will carve a path with the Council." I yelled
Friend was taken aback by what I said. "You said the F‐word!?" Friend said
"Yeah, of course," I said merrily.
"You are corrupted!" Friend yelled
"Incorrect; as you can see, I became my own person, someone that isn't a vessel to be trampled," I said.
"You are pathetic!" Friend yelled.
"Not quite, but I am Omegaα's favorite still," I said.
"You forgot your mission to eliminate the council!" Friend yelled
"That was my previous mission; my mission now is to keep being their friend and protecting their happiness!" I yelled
"Mumei, I could kiss you right now!" Irys yelled
We all went silent and glared at Irys, whose face was bright red.
"Maybe in another timeline," Ame laughed.
"Amelia, what the hell are you saying?" Gura asked
"I'm just saying there may or may not be a timeline where Irys and Mumei kiss," Ame said.
"Irys, I'm going to ignore that you said that Mumei is very kissable though," Bae said.
"Okay, what is going on?" Ina questioned
"Everyone loves Meimei," Sana said.
"Fair point," Fauna and Kronii said.
"Look, I'm going to ignore the whole timeline thing Ame just said." I yawned.
"Actually, how many timelines do you know about!?" Kronii asked
"Well, because of the other Zeta showing up, I may have looked into sixteen or sixty-four timelines," Ame said.
"I could just strangle you!" Kronii yelled
"Please don't," Watson said.
"Yeah, I want you to refrain from choking my disgusting girlfriend," Gura said.
"Excuse you!?" Ame yelled
"Okay, we need to focus. Friend, stay here or else." I scowled
"No, if I can't leave, you can't either!" It yelled
It flew towards my body, and I immediately understood that it wanted to possess my body. Since neither of us can leave, I jumped back and slashed the bag's eyes so my friend couldn't see.
"I'm over here!" Gura suddenly screamed.
A friend changed directions and flew over to Gura. I smiled. I guess not even a friend can tell the difference.
"You're mine!" Friend screamed
Selen grabbed Friend and stopped it from getting to Gura.
"Whoever you are, let go!" Friend hissed
She did as told, but I immediately stomped the paper bag to the ground.
"It's over," I said.
"Wait, did you learn how to clone yourself, Mumei!?" Friend asked
I didn't reply. I just pinned my friend to the ground and went towards the exit.
"Goodbye..." I calmly sighed as I stepped out, being hit by the breeze.
"That must have been tough," Kiara told me as her body regained life.
I looked at her and smiled.
"Nope, because I have to; I don't need a friend to watch me over," I told her.
All of my sisters came and hugged me. I giggled, "So much love," and I told them
What is next for us? I wondered. I looked at Ame, who was worried about something.
I wonder what it is.
