Mumei pov: "I promised Ina we'd be out in ten minutes." I said everyone looked at me in confusion besides Kiara, Zeta, and Fauna.
"You talked to who now?" Selen asked
"Ina," I stated
"Now's not the time to make people up," Selen said.
"I'm not..." I said
"Did you see Sana and Kronii?" Kiara asked
"Nope," I sighed.
"You need to tell me who these people are, Mumei..." Selen sighed
"Why should I tell you?" I asked
"Wow, what happened to the broken woman I knew?" Selen asked
"I grew up unlike you," I said.
"Damn hostile," Selen laughed.
"I'm sorry, just help me.." I sighed
"Fine, who are we looking for?" Selen asked
"Forget about that, we are going back to Suisei...." I said
"Why Mumei-senpai?" Zeta asked
"We are breaking out; we only have like eight minutes left," I said.
"Okay, but will our power be enough senpai?" Kaela asked
"Yes, it depends on how strong some of my senpai are." I sighed
I looked around and saw a drone flying around. "Mumei-chan!" A voice called out.
"Lui-nee?" I asked
"Yes, thankfully you are okay and didn't get blown up!" Lui-nee said
"Why would we have been blown up?" I asked
"Because of Koyori!" Lui-nee said
"For the last damn time, the missiles implode; they don't explode!" Koyori yelled
"That's stupid...." I commented
"It's not who wants missiles that blow people up!" Koyori asked
"Uh, any normal person.." I said.
"Have you met a normal person, Mumei-senpai?" Koyori asked
"Yeah, and that's not you. " Choe said
"I'll kick your ass, you aren't the brains of this operation, I am!" Koyori said
"Okay, can we make this quick? We have like seven minutes to get out." I sighed
"Okay, we will lead you to the wormhole. You just need to get through," Lui-nee said.
"Is it really that simple?" I asked
"Y-yeah....." Lui-nee said
"Wait, we need Suisei-senpai and the others!" I said
"Well, let's go get them," Zeta said.
"It's not that easy since the person from earlier may be prowling and hunting us," Kiara said.
"Huh, they did fall silent after we beat the shadowmen," I said.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you, Mumei!" Fauna said cheerfully.
"I'm not worried about that, just the implications..." I groaned
"Mumei-senpai, you need to hurry since you're apparently on a time crunch," Chloe stated.
That was true; we had no time to waste, but then I had an idea. "Fauna, do me a favor," I asked. I had her give me a vine. I transformed into my owl form and flew as fast as I could back to the others, swiftly wrapping them with the vine, and I quickly pulled them to where we all were.
"Phew, you all were heavy." I panted
"What did you figure out, Mumei?" Suisei-senpai asked as she cut her and everyone else out of the binding.
"We follow the drone and see the exit," I said.
We followed Koyori's drone until we got to where the wormhole should be, and she opened it.
Zeta goes in first. I said she nodded and went through
After she exited, it was Kiara's turn, then Ela's, and they left without a hitch, but then it came to me. I tried to leave but got pulled back down by a mysterious force.
"Fauna, you try.." I said.
She nodded and tried to leave, but the same thing happened to her.
"What should we do, Mumei-senpai?" Zeta asked
"Yeah, I can't hold the wormhole open for much longer, senpai."
"Hold on, maybe I can reach down there and grab Mumei-senpai!" Iroha said
"No, you don't! "If someone is going to go for that, let's pick someone expendable, like, for instance, Chloe. " Koyori said
"Why are you so worried?" Iroha asked
"Well, you see, the drone is actually going to explode. ", Koyori said.
"Are you kidding?" Lui-nee asked
"No," Koyori said with a serious tone.
"How strong is the explosion?" Chloe asked
"Enough to blow up the earth like three thousand times," Koyori said.
"Okay, you can't be fucking serious...." Kiara said
"Well, I am senpai," Koyori said.
I sighed and looked at Suisei-senpai and the others. "All of you go up..." I said after the left I saw Axel was still down here, not that I really cared if he was caught up in the blast.
"Damn it...." I said.
"Mumei, I have an idea!" Selen said
"And that is?" I motioned for her to go on with her statement.
She pulled out some item that absorbed me and Fauna, throwing it through the wormhole and getting us out. She followed soon after.
"Someone should get Axel," Iofi said.
"Why?" We all asked.
"Ugh, fine, I'll get him." Zeta said as she jumped down there.
"Do you think she'll be fine?" Lui-nee asked
"I'm not worried about Zeta...." I said
"Move it, you damn mutt!" Zeta yelled as she threw Axel through the wormhole, and he slammed into the ceiling, getting sucked in.
Zeta jumped back through, and as soon as she was on the other side, the drone blew up, we lost connection, and the wormhole closed.
"Alright, thankfully you all are okay," Koyori said.
"Koyo, maybe you should make things that don't explode from now on," Iroha said.
"I'm only willing to go fifty-fifty on that," Koyori said.
"Listen to your girlfriend," Lui-nee said.
"Look, I didn't tease you this much when I found out you were dating Chloe!" Koyori yelled
"Ah, so you are dating?" Chloe asked
"No, well, it's complicated!" Koyori said
"Cute young love..." I said
"It makes me want to throw up!" Selen laughed
"We are not in love!" Koyori yelled
"It doesn't matter; all that matters is that we get into space," I said.
"Well, I can open a wormhole that'd take like six or five minutes," she said.
"Perfect," I said I was going to see Ina in exactly ten minutes.
