He gives her one more kiss before he walks away, going to find Steve. As soon as he walks away, Nat and Yelena turn in and smile at her, like they'd been listening the entire time, because they had been.

Bucky finds Steve with Thor and when Steve sees Bucky they walk away together, going into a room with Tony and Yelena who had run in and left Aspen alone with Nat because she wanted to be a part of the plan too. Bucky was glad she was there because he didn't know if she would accidentally let anything slip while she was taking to Aspen.

"I'm freaking out I'm nervous and I might cry." Bucky says. His hands were visibly shaking and he was chewing on his nails. He was worried, for absolutely no reason, but it was adorable how worried he was, like he didn't know the answer was going to be yes.

"Chill out buck. Everything's in place, it'll be perfect." Steve tells Bucky. Bucky was also nervous that someone had ripped Aspen off. He wanted it to be a surprise, and he needed it to go exactly as planned. But then there was the other thing. "What if she says no?" Bucky asks. Everyone rolled their eyes. They all knew that would never happen.

"You are very dumb a Bucky. She will not say no." Yelena says. Saying what literally everyone else was thinking. "How do you know?" Bucky asks. Still terrified. "Because I am me. I know everything." Yelena tells him. That didn't help him at all. "And the plan is perfect." She adds. "And she loves a Bucky." She finished. And that, that did help him.

"And I helped with the plan so it's obviously full proof." Tony says. Everyone rolled their eyes at him now. Of course he was able to make this about him. But Bucky was grateful for Tony's help. Aspen shouldn't suspect anything is different with this party because Tony made it like all of the others.

"Can we just go over it all once more time for good measure?" Bucky asks. He was calmer but he still wanted another run through just to be safe. "Everything's already in place." Steve tells him.

"Tony made up the party saying it was for Yelena," Steve goes on. "Yelena backed up the story. Everyone is clueless except us and Nat." Steve says. Bucky took a deep breath and nodded. "Nat is distracting her until you get your shit together and get out there." Steve adds. Hinting to the fact that Bucky needed to get his shit together and get out there.

"So get it together and go propose to my sister." Steve clarifies. Spelling it out for Bucky just incase he didn't get the message. Now it was time for the pep talk. The best friend talk. It was time for Steve to step up to his duties and be there for Bucky when he really needed him, now. Be the Steve Bucky knew all the way back in the 40's.

"She has never loved anybody the way she loves you." Steve tells him. "You were there for her when I couldn't be. When no one else was." Steve says. "You're everything to her. She loves you. She'll say yes." Steve says. Bucky needed that. That was exactly what he needed to get his shit together. He knew that every word of what Steve said was true. He took a breath and got ready. It was almost time.

"See that is exactly what I said. Because I am smart." Yelena interrupted. "Go propose or I will because I want a Aspen." Yelena adds. Buckys eyes widen and he looks at Yelena and then over to Steve and Tony, seeing if they heard what he just heard.

Tony laughs then looks at Bucky dead serious. "You better run because Aspen would say yes to Yelena." Tony tells Bucky. Bucky was now frightened again. But he knew it was time. And he knew Aspen was a simp for Yelena so he wasn't taking any chances. "Oh I know I'm going." Bucky says. He looks at Steve one more time for a final okay.

Steve pats him on the back and smiles at him. "You've got this brother." Steve tells Bucky. Bucky smiles. He needed that now more than ever. "Thank you Steve." Bucky tells him, and he walks out, going to find Aspen.
