After talking to Nat, Aspen went back to Bucky. She had told someone else about this situation that involved both of them, she needed to tell him that she told Nat. She felt bad that she even told her without him knowing about it first but she didn't want to lie to Natasha's face either, especially since Nat knew something was going on already. She knew Bucky wouldn't mind she told Nat but she still felt bad regardless.

She went to her room where knew knew he would be. He was waiting for her to come back. Like he always did. He always wanted to wait for her to come back to him, because she always did. She wished he would do more things on his own instead of waiting for her, but it was sweet. She just wished he would break out of his shell sometimes.

She always found him so adorable though, and she forgot about all her worries when she saw him. The way he smiled at her when she walked back into the room. And she got mad at herself for ever leaving the arms of this kind, caring, beautiful man who loved her so much.

Bucky smiled at Aspen as she walked through the door and reached his arms out to her, making grabby hands, telling her to come over to him. He wanted to hold her, to feel her, kiss her.

She walked over to him, smiling, she leaned down and kissed him. She wanted to rip the bandaid off and just tell him because she knew if she didn't tell him right away, she would just stress herself out more, and she was already extremely stressed out.

"I told Nat." Aspen tells him quickly. Bucky doesn't seem to care what she's saying. He pulls her closer and kisses her again, longer this time. But Aspen was going to continue to tell him until he listened because this was important.

"About Howard." Aspen continues. "Bucky I can't keep this. It's killing me." Aspen tells him. Now Bucky was listening. He knew she was really having a hard time and needed to talk about this and all he wanted to do was listen and help her now.

But he knew that if Tony found out, hell would break loose. Everything would change. He knew she would end up getting hurt and the last thing he wanted was for Aspen to get more hurt than she already had been in her life time.

He took her hands in his and runs his hands up and down her arms. "Baby you know what will happen if Tony finds out." Bucky tells her. She knew. And she knew he was only trying to look out for her, but she couldn't handle hiding things from people. Especially family. Tony was her family now.

If it were just her involved, she wouldn't think twice about telling Tony. But this involved Bucky too. She didn't want him getting hurt either. Because just as he feared for her, he would get hurt, and she didn't want to see him get hurt anymore than he already had.

And it was worse because she did have to watch everything that Hydra did to Bucky. He didn't have to watch anything they did to her, because he was already gone. Hydra took him from her. She was glad he didn't have to go through everything she did watching her being taken from him. She was glad it went this way instead.

She leaned down and kissed him again. She knew Bucky would understand where she was coming from, but she needed to explain it to him because she wanted to make sure he knew. She didn't want him to think she was just throwing them under the bus when there was no reason to.

"Jamie it's not right. Under Hydra's control or not Tony deserves the truth." Aspen tells Bucky. She truly believed this, and so did Bucky. He just needed to know Aspen was sure about telling Tony. And he knew she was.

He knew she was stressed out and he wanted to lighten the mood. He moved his hands to her hips, holding her close to him by her waist. He pulled her closer, she was standing between his legs as he looked up at her, making goofy faces.

"I hate how you have morals." He teases her, shaking his head. "Now we have to go tell him." Bucky says. Aspen laughs and tries the shove him away playfully, but he pulls her closer. He always wanted to be as close to her as possible.

"Baby I can't help it." She tells him. She knew he was only joking, but she always felt the need to explain herself. Part of her was always insecure. She knew and wanted to change that but it was hard. And Bucky knew this, and he tried to help her as much as he could. "You know it'll haunt me." Aspen tells him.

He nods and pulls her even closer. He looks up at her, he tugs at the waist band of her jeans and moves her hips side to side. "I know." He tells her. "Are you sure you wanna do this doll?" He asks her one more time. Before they potentially blew up almost everything they had going for them.

"Yes." Aspen tells him. "But you're part of it too." She says. "So it's up to you. I don't want you getting hurt." She tells him. He shakes his head and smiles at her. "You know I'm gonna do whatever you want me to anyway." Bucky tells her.

She didn't like how she had that much of an influence on him that he would do anything she wanted him to, she wanted him to have a real opinion on things. But she knew he would really tell her if he didn't want to do something.

"I'm wrapped around your little fingers." Bucky tells her. Making a face at her again and teasing her. She smiled and shook her head. "Seriously James." She says. Wanting to know for sure he wanted to do this too and not just because she did.

"This is a decision we need to make together." She tells him. Bucky pulls her down and kisses her. "Let's do it." Bucky tells her and kisses her again. "I love you." Aspen tells him. "I love you princess." Bucky tells her, leaning into her and kissing her one more time.
