"So I have your blessing?" Bucky asked Steve. An amused smile spread across Steve's face. He knew Bucky loved doing things the old fashioned way, but he didn't know he needed him to straight up say I give you my blessing. But he wasn't surprised either. And he actually found comfort in the fact that Bucky had to ask. That he had to hear Steve say it.

"Can I ask Aspen to marry me?" Bucky asks. A smile on his face. He knew Steve's answer. He couldn't help but smile at the thought of marrying Aspen....

Steve wanted to mess around a little bit, make him sweat, but not really sweat, not be mean, he also wanted to help calm buckys nerves because he knew his anxiety was through the roof right now. "Who's your best man?" Steve asked bucky. Bucky looked at Steve, coming his head, like Steve didn't already know the answer to that. "You." Bucky tells him. It's was the most obvious answer in the world.

"Of course you can ask Aspen to marry you." Steve tells him. He wouldn't want anyone else to marry his little sister. "How are you gonna do it?" He asked out of curiosity. He wanted to be a part of it, help. He wanted to be a part of his sisters happiness and his best friends. He wanted to help Bucky plan it or see it through, he wanted to do whatever he could. He knew that if Bucky had the ring that long he had at least thought about how he would propose if he didn't already have a plan.

"We'll... since you asked I could use your help." Bucky tells Steve. He smiles, earning a smile from Steve as well. Bucky spent the next twenty minutes explaining to Steve what he wanted to do, because he had thought about how he was going to propose, he did have a plan, he knew exactly how he wanted it to all go down, and he thought it was perfect, just like Aspen. He needed it all to be perfect for her because he only got to propose once and she was the most special and most important person in his life. He couldn't mess it up.

When they were done they made their way back to the bar, where they had left Aspen with Natasha. She was sitting on the bar stool and when she saw Bucky her eyes lit up, so did his. "Hi doll." Buck said, walking over to her, putting his arm around her, she laid his head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Hey handsome." She said with a smile, kissing his cheek and squeezing him tight.

"Did you get all your stuff?" She asked him. He looked over to Steve and made an 'oh shit' face. "Uhm..." he stuttered for a minute trying to find his answer. "Uhm no." He told her. She looked at him confused so he continued his explanation that was actually not an explanation at all. "But I'll finish getting it later." He told her. "Oh okay." She said.

"I should've asked if you wanted help." And realized. "I'm sorry." She says. Bucky shakes his head and kisses her temple. "No it's okay." He tells her. He was glad she didn't offer to help because if she did he wouldn't have been able to convince her he didn't need her help, she would help him regardless, because that's who she was, and that's one of the infinite reasons why he wanted to marry her.

"I'll help you get the rest when you're ready." She tells him. Bucky smiled at her. He thought constantly how lucky he was to have her. And she thought the same about him. "Aspen it's okay, really I got it." He tells her. Smiling and chuckling a little at how cute he thought she was. She made a sad face and started to pout, looking down. "Ok..." she said.

Bucky sad she was upset, he didn't like that neither of them knew what page each other was on they had never felt like that before, he wanted to fix it, he wanted to figure out what was going on so they could get back to the way they usually were.

He lifted aspens chin so she would look at him. He looks at him and he was looking at her with pure love and adoration in his eyes. She felt better and any doubt faded away. She smiled back and leaned up, pressing a soft kiss to his lips.

"If a Sam look at me like a Bucky look at Aspen I will take him." Yelena says. Bucky and Aspen had forgotten that they were still in the bar, when they were together, the entire world around them would fade away. They only payed attention to each other when they were together. They loved their friends and they would leave their own little world for them if they had to but they also knew that if anything were to ever happen that they could always count on each other.

"What about a Sam?" Sam asks walking into the room with a hug smug smile on his face. "Nothin." Aspen says quickly. "Don't you think Yelena and Tony would be cute?" She asks Sam. She smiled over at Natasha knowing what her answer would be. "Absolutely not." Natasha said.
