Bucky looked at Aspen bewildered. This woman kidnapped her, she made her call to tell him goodbye, to tell Steve goodbye. She basically emotionally and mentally tortured Aspen, and Aspen wanted them to hear her out. He knew Aspen had a big heart, but sometimes, he questioned it. But she was his girl. She asked him to do something, so he would do it, for her.

He would hear her out at least. Because that's what Aspen wanted. Steve on the other hand, he looked confused and angry, the rest of the team just looked confused. Sam looked at Aspen like she was crazy. Aspen felt all these eyes on her and tried to make herself smaller, she felt like she was being judged for the decision she made to forgive Yelena. She felt like she was being judged for being kind and giving someone the benefit of the doubt.

It's what her mother taught her to do, what her brother taught her to do, so she didn't understand why he was looking at her the way he was. Everyone else she got, the didn't understand her, but Steve. And Bucky's face had softened and he held Aspen close protectively. He would do anything for her. And he saw everyone's eyes on her and he felt protective, like she needed him, and she did. She always needed him.

Aspen couldn't think of a time when she didn't need Bucky. Maybe because they were by each other's sides for so long, but,  she still couldn't think of a risk where she didn't need him. And nobody's eyes were on Yelena either. Except Nats. Sam was the first to actually speak up and question Aspen.

"You want us to hear her out?" Sam alas Aspen. Clarifying. Steve looked at Aspen still, his jaw tightened and his features hard and angry. "Aspen she traumatized you, All of us. We thought we would Never see you again." Steve tells Aspen angrily.

Aspens features softened as she looked at her big brother with big sad eyes. She looked into Steve's eyes and she could see the pain in them, she knew he had been terrified and all she wanted to do was hug her big brother and tell him she was okay, but she lens her was angry and upset right now and needed his space.

Aspen looked to Bucky to help her because she knew he understood her and she knew she could count on him to be by her side. "Babe, I know you were terrified, But she's a good person." Aspen told Bucky, her eyes pleasing with him. He looked back at her lovingly and understanding, he didn't want to go against her but he wanted to make sure she knew what she was saying.

"Asp that doesn't change the fact that she-," Bucky started, but Aspen cut him off. "Bucky, she went through something like what we did." Aspen told Bucky to make him understand and sympathize with Yelena because he knew what it was like. Just like Aspen did. That's why she was so easy on her. And she didn't mean any harm.

"That is a Bucky?" Yelena asks looking between Aspen and Bucky. She makes a satisfied expression and Aspen cuts her eyes at her. "That is a good looking Bucky." Yelena tells Aspen. "I want one." She tells her.

Aspen glares at Yelena then looks back at Bucky, her face serious and stern. "She's a terrible person." Aspen tells Bucky. "Kill her." Aspen says. Her expression looked like she had never been more serious. Bucky knew she was kidding, as did everyone else, and he started laughing and held Aspen close to him.

"Which one is it doll?" Bucky asks Aspen. "Make up your mind." He tells her. Aspen looks back at Yelena and looks at her seriously. Her face with no expression. "There's only one Bucky." Aspen tells Yelena. "This Bucky," Aspen started, pointing at Bucky, "and this is my Bucky." She tells Yelena.

"You got it?" She asks Yelena if she understood. Yelena bursted out laughing and continued to look at Aspen. "This is your Bucky. I got it." Yelena tells Aspen. Aspen looks satisfied and then looks back at Bucky. "Ok. Fine. Don't kill her." She tells Bucky.

Everyone looks at Yelena now. All their expressions stern, and then Yelena got serious again. She knew they wanted an explanation. She knew they wanted another confirmation that she never intended on hurting Aspen. "I was not going to hurt her." Yelena tells them. "She is good person." She says. "I just wanted to see my sister. And I didn't know how so I did this." Yelena says.

Nobody was satisfied still. Aspen looked at Bucky, her face pleading with him to please be on her side. He looked down at his doll and he nodded. She looked at Steve. Looking for her big birthed to be on her side and Steve shook his head. "I still don't think that's a good enough explanation." Steve says.

Aspen understood, it was a big thing Yelena did when there were literally so many other ways she could have gotten to Nat, it was over the top, but so she was asking her big brother to give Yelena the benefit of the doubt because she went through the same things Bucky and Aspen did.

But she quickly understood why Steve I'd dint understand. Because Steve didn't know what Aspen and Bucky went through. He wasn't there. So he couldn't sympathize with Yelena the way Aspen and Bucky could. And she accepted that as best she could.

She looked to Yelena and have her an apologetic look, and then back to Steve, trying to read his facial expression. It was angry still, and almost blank too. She sighed, knowing that for now, that was a battle that she was going to lose. And then she took another deep breath in, and another out, and she looked back at Bucky, waiting for what he was going to say.
