Love Story

Steve held Aspen's hand and smiled at her. Aspen nodded. It was time. Time to walk down the aisle. He squeezed her hand and they took a step together. And then another. And then another. Aspen met eyes with Bucky and Bucky smiled with tears in his eyes.

Aspen had held herself together until she saw the tears in Bucky's eyes, then she lost it, she started to cry. They had waited for this...for happiness, for forever. Steve had tears in his eyes, seeing his little sister and his best friend getting married, he knew they were happy together and that was all he could ever ask for for the both of them.

Steve and Aspen walked hand in hand to Bucky and when they got there Steve kissed aspens cheek and gave her hand over to Bucky. Bucky took both aspens hands in both of his and held them. Steve stood next to Bucky now as his best man. And Aspen and Bucky smiled at each other.

"Hi." Aspen whispered to Bucky. Bucky's smile widened. "Hi doll." He replied. Aspen looked over him again, his black suit, his tie, she chuckled and fiddled with his tie. "You look pretty." Aspen said giving him a smirk. Bucky chuckled and shook his head.

This was one of the many things he loved about her. She was always herself. She didn't care what anyone thought, she was herself. Especially around Bucky. He loved that she was always herself but especially when she was around him.

"You look handsome." Bucky tells Aspen, earning a little chuckle from her. Aspens smile faded slightly and she got serious but also completely unserious. "I have a secret to tell you." Aspen told Bucky. Then she smiled. And Bucky was intrigued.

"Yea?" He asked. Aspen nodded. "What is it?" He asked her. Aspen shook her head. "It wouldn't be a secret if I told you." Aspen told him. She wasn't gonna tell him yet. She would later. But she wanted to get it on his mind. But she thought telling him at their wedding was cheesy and overrated.

Bucky laughed at Aspen. "You're such a dork." He tells her. "Aw I love you too." Aspen says giving him a big goofy smile. Bucky shakes his head and smiles bigger. "I love you baby." Bucky tells her.

Everyone looked at the two of them. They saw how happy they were. How in love they were. The ceremony continued. It was time for their vows. Aspen went first. She took a deep breath and before she even started talking she started to cry, which made Bucky begin to cry.

"Bucky since the moment I met you, I knew I needed you." Aspen said. She tried to pull herself together but she couldn't. Neither could Bucky. "I tried my best to fight it because we made a promise." Aspen says referring to the promise they made to Steve.

She was going through their story. Their love story. "Then I thought I was gonna lose you." She said. Her voice broke as she spoke. Just the memory of it was enough to send her over the edge. "And I made a decision to jump with you." She said.

She looked into Buckys stormy, steel blue eyes and she gave him a half smile. Bucky had a tear falling down his cheek. Aspen reached her hand up to wipe it and Bucky did the same to Aspen. "And despite what we went through." Aspen continued. "It was the best decision of my life." Aspen told him. "Because we did it together." She said, and she smiled. A genuine smile and so did he, because they did it together.

"And we're going to continue to do things together for the rest of our lives." Aspen tells him. "I love you more than anything and I can't wait to start the next chapter of our lives together." She says and she smiles. Knowing what their future has in store...well the next 7 months...

Bucky smiles and now it's his turn. "At first," he started. "I thought the story of our love..." he said. "Started with our first kiss." He continued. "But I was wrong." He says. "It started the moment I met you." He told Aspen. Aspen was a mess. She couldn't stop crying. She was so emotional. They both were.

"And it'll go on. Until we are old and grey." Bucky tells Aspen. "And just like that stupid chick flick you make me watch said, I want to die in your arms when I'm 210 years old." He tells her with a little chuckle. Aspen has a straight face now. "It's greys anatomy it's not stupid and it's 110." Aspen tells him.

Bucky laughs and smiles at Aspen. Aspen can't help but smile back. "Well I'm changing it because I'm already 106 and I want more time with you." Bucky tells her. "Now shush I'm not done." He tells her. Then he gets serious. "I love you Aspen. You're my home." He says. "And you're mine." Aspen tells him.

The rest of the ceremony flies by. And it's time for their i do's. Aspen looks into buckys eyes and she smiles. Tears still fall down her cheeks. "I do." Aspen says. She had never been more used of anything. She didn't need a moment to think. She knew. And Bucky knew. He smiled. "I do." Bucky said.
