Bucky had his own motives in Aspen coming to see Natasha. Of course he wanted to be her emotional support and he was there to protect her, but if she was with Nat, that meant even if Yelena was around, Aspen would be safe, so he could step away.

When Aspen wasn't paying attention, Bucky text Steve and told him to come to the bar to help hime move his things into Aspen's room, which was now, their room.

He was sitting quietly as Aspen talked to Natasha, minding his own business, but he kept his hand in hers the entire time. Like he always did.

He saw Steve starting to walk into the room and and he tugged on Aspen's hand grabbing her attention. She looked over at him and smiled. He took in the woman sitting in front of him smiling. He smiled back and everything in him just wanted to hold her and keep her forever, but in order to do that, he had things he had to do.

"Asp," He started, still looking at her in awe, he shook off all the thoughts intruding on him trying to form a sentence, thinking how he had the rest of his life to think those thoughts with her.

"Uhm, while you talk to Nat, Steve's gonna help me move my stuff into our room." Bucky tells her. Aspen's smile fades and it turns into a pout. "You're gonna leave me alone?" Aspen asked. Her eyes were wide and sad.

She didn't want him to leave her alone especially when things seemed to be getting awkward with Natasha, but it was to move things into their room. Steve see's Aspen pouting and walks over, standing next to her. "Nat's right here, we'll be right back." Steve tells her.

Aspen shakes her head and continues to pout at Bucky. "I'll be back doll." Bucky tells her. "I love you." He says, leaning in and kissing her softly. The kiss is over took quick for aspen though and she wants to pull him back in, but she knew the sooner he got it done the sooner he'd be back. "And don't move." Bucky adds before leaving.

When Bucky and Steve are clear out of the room, Aspen turns to Natasha and she has tears in her eyes. "I love him." She tells Natasha. It had hit her when he left, that she didn't know what she would do if Bucky really left instead of just going somewhere temporarily.

"We know that." Natasha tells her. Because they had already said it to each other, Aspen's already admitted it, so she didn't know why it was being said, and with so emotion.

Another thought that came to Aspen's mind, was she could have already had everything with Bucky. If Hydra didn't happen she could have been with him this entire time. They could've been married already, had kids, she thought they missed out on all that time together because of Hydra.

"I can't believe we missed out on a lifetime together." Aspen tells Natasha. Aspen shakes her tears away and looks back up to Natasha. "You're lucky Aspen." Natasha tells her.

Aspen thinks for a moment how the hell she was lucky after everything that had happened, but then she realized that in the end, she still had Bucky. And she didn't technically miss out on any time with him because they were mostly frozen.

And She still had just as much time with him. Technically she had more. And regardless of time, at least in the moment, she had Bucky.

"You had a lifetime with him as your best friend and now you get another with him as your best friend, the love of your life, and your soulmate." Natasha tells her. And Aspen knows she's right. But she couldn't help but think of what the could've already had.

"I know I'm lucky to have him, But I can't help but think about what we could have had already." Aspen tells her. She didn't want to sound ungrateful because she still had Bucky. But she needed to get her feelings out, it was something she had thought of for a very long time.

"I want to marry him." Aspen tells Natasha. "and have all his brunette super soldier blue eyed babies." She adds. "Does he want all that?" Natasha asks her. "He does." Aspen says with a smile. "He told me he wants everything with me." Aspen says.

"So why do you sound like somethings wrong?" Natasha asks. "I don't want to wait to have a life with him anymore." Aspen tells Nat. "I want it now and I don't know if he's ready." she says. "And the last thing I want to do is rush him." Aspen says.

"Aspen he loves you more than anything. Anybody who sees the way he looks at you can see that." Nat says. "I'm positive he doesn't want to Wait any longer either He loves you." Natasha tells her.

Even though Nat was trying to ease Aspen's mind, Aspen still couldn't help but worry. She would rather wait til he was ready to scare him away so she would wait for him. But there's a point where you can only wait so long.
