Everyone goes their separate ways to suit up for the mission. Bucky and Aspen go into Bucky's room. He gets changed for the mission first. Putting in pants. A black leather jacket, and hiding various knives in his suit. He sits on the couch in his room, pulling Aspen over to him and having her sit on his lap, straddling him. His arms are wrapped rested on her hips and Aspen's arms are wrapped around Bucky's neck. They both decided to ignore the fact that they could both feel Bucky trough his jeans. They were having a sweet goodbye and neither wanted to sexualize it.

"Bucky I don't want you to go." She whispers to him. Bucky took his flesh hand and brought it up to Aspen's cheek, his thumb stroking her soft skin slowly. "I want to go with you." She told him. "I don't want you to be alone." She says. She moves her hand to his check, just had her is doing to hers, and rubs her thumb against it slowly. They look into each other's eyes and tune our everything around them. Focusing on the other.

They isolated themselves. Listening to each other's heart beats, the sound of their breathing. Bucky wanted to soothe Aspen's mind before he had to leave. "Aspen the whole team is going to be there. I'll be fine." Bucky tells her. He lifts her head up and shakes it side to side slowly, trying to get her to lighten up. Even though he knew why she was worried, and he was too. But he wanted her to feel better before he had to leave. And getting her mind to ease, our his mind at ease.

"And you'll technically be with me." Bucky says, giving her a small smile. Aspen rolls her eyes and shakes her head, trying not to laugh or smile. "If you say 'in your heart' I'm gonna hurt you." Aspen says to him, trying to look as serious as she could. She bit her lip trying hard not to smile. Bucky smiles and her, laughing and sailing his head. "Well yes that." Bucky says. "But I'll be able to hear your through the earpiece." Bucky said, tilting his head to the side, trying to really read what Aspen was thinking and feeling, since soaks was trying to hide her emotions and expressions.

She couldn't help but worry but she also wanted to make him worry about her while he had to be on a mission. It would make it even more unsafe for him. She needed to tell him what he wanted to hear even though she was still worried. "That makes me feel a little better." She tells Bucky. She needed to tell him what he wanted to hear.

She took her hand off his cheek and tucked his hair behind his ear. Playing with lose pieces. Looking into his eyes, over his facial features. Not wanting to let him go just yet but knowing he has to leave soon. He didn't want to leave her either. He gave her a soft smile. "I'll be careful, okay?" He says and asks her. He leans in, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. Her cheeks flush red and she nods. "Okay." She whispers.

"Now give me a kiss." He tells her. "I have to go." He says. He smirks at her and they both crash their lips together. They pulled each other closer, quickly. They kissed passionately, pulling each other close, not wanting to let go. But they eventually let each other go. Aspen swipes her thumb over Bucky's bottom lip, wiping off the moisture from their kiss. Both of them were blushing and smiling at each other.

"I'll see you when you get back." Aspen says. "Be carful." She tells him. "I will doll." Bucky tells her. He smiles at her. Looking into her beautiful emerald green eyes and he admires her for a moment. Aspen looks back at him. Looking into his steel blue eyes, getting lost in them. She looks at the man in front of her and she doesn't want to hold it in anymore. Especially if he's leaving for a mission, she needed to tell him.

"I love you Jamie." She whispers to him. She searches his face, trying to read his expression, figure out what he's thinking, how he's feeling. She loved him. She had known for a while. And she realized that she had loved him forever. This entire time. Since they met she had been in love with him. But she only recently realized. And she knew, she could tell by the way he looked at her, the way he kissed her, how he protected her, that he loved her. Even if he wasn't ready to say it, she knew he did. They'd loved each other forever.

Bucky smiles at Aspen. His smile grows wider by the second. His eyes light up as he hears her say the words. And he had been waiting for it. He wanted nothing more than to say it back to her. If she hadn't said it right then, then he would have. He was already planning on it. His smile gets bigger and Aspen's eyes brighten as she sees him smiling at her. How happy he looks that she said she loved him. "I-" he starts. And just as he's about to tell her...the bedroom door flings open. At the most inconvenient time.

And Steve walks through. He had heard everything. He knew everything. And they knew he knew. And at this point, there was no use in denying it. They had to come clean now. "It's time to go." Steve says. Completely trying to change the subject and get them two off each other, away from each other. Aspen jumps off Bucky's lap off instinct when she sees Steve and hears his voice. This was not the way they wanted Steve to find out. They were planning on telling him when they got back from the mission. This was worse than they could have imagined. But it got worse.

"I- oh my god." Is all Aspen can manage to say. Both her and Bucky were too stunned to speak. "Aspen i need to talk to you." Steve says. Ignoring Bucky and looking directly at Aspen. He sees Aspen look back at Bucky and he shakes his head. "Alone." Steve clarifies.

Aspen didn't care, she looked back at Bucky. She needed his approval, to know what he wanted and what he was thinking. "James..." she whispered, looking at him. He met her eyes and gave her a soft smile and looked at her lovingly. Wanting her to know that their conversation, wasn't over. "Aspen as soon as I get home." He says. "I will come find you." He says.
