When Aspen finishes talking to Nat, she finds her way to Bucky's room. She was supposed to go right back to him in her room but she really wanted to talk to Nat first, he figured she'd come back to find him eventually so he went back to his room while he waited for her. She took longer than she thought he would, and part of him did worry she ended up regretting kissing him, telling him how she felt, but all that doubt went away when she walked through his bedroom door with a bright smile on her face. He smiles back as she walks over to where he's sitting at a desk he has in his room.

"Hey doll." He says. He reaches his arms out and makes grabby hands for her to come closer. She obliged and walks over to him, she leans in and so does he. "I know-" she starts. But I'd interrupted with a short sweet kiss from him. "We already kind of talked." She says between kisses, and is interrupted once again by a kiss. She didn't mind it at all and couldn't help but smile to herself as he kissed her. "But-" she starts and he pulls her closer, kissing her again. He smiles up at her when she's about to talk again and cuts her off.

He knew what she was going to say and didn't want her to have to stress about saying it. "Let me take you out on a date doll." He says. Half answering her question. Her question would have been what they were. If they were together, taking it slow, what were they? And asking her out in a date, told her. They were taking it slow. Starting from the beginning and working their way up. Aspen smiles and kisses him.

"Yea?" She asks. Bucky smiles and nods. "Yes." He says. He smirks and tilts his head to the side. "As long as you spend the night if it goes well." He adds. Aspen blushes and her mouth opens in shock. She laughs and playfully smacks his arm. "James!?" She exclaims. He laughs and shakes his head at her. "Not like that..." he says. She shakes her head at him and bites her lip. Now she couldn't help but think about that. "I mean like our cuddle sleepovers." He says. He chuckles and shakes his head at Aspen. "Dirty mind." He teases.

Aspen rolls her eyes at him but she continues to smile. "Okay well I have to go get dressed for our date." She says. "Our first date." She clarifies and shimmies her shoulders playfully to show she was excited about their date. This date would be their first official date and it was the start of something extremely real for them. It wasn't the beginning of their story together, but it was the beginning of their relationship, the beginning of them realizing their feelings for one another. Finally.

Bucky tilts his head and shakes it at her. "Not without a kiss you're not." He tells her. Once again he reaches his arms out and makes grabby hands at her signaling for her to come closer and give him a kiss. Aspen leans in and hovers her lips over his. "Why-" she starts, but doesn't make it through her sentence. Bucky closes the distance and kisses her. She pulls away slightly to finish talking, "are you so clingy already?" She asks teasingly and then she continues to kiss him. She gives him a smiling slow kiss before they pull away.

"I can't get enough of you." Bucky says to Aspen. And it was true, for both of them. Now that they had one another, they couldn't contain themselves around each other. They had no idea what they had been missing all this time. Their were deprived of one another and now all they wanted to do was be around the other, kiss, hug, any form of contact was fine with them as long as it was with one another and they never wanted to stop or leave each other. They were new to the feeling of being together and it was like ecstasy to them.

They were a drug to one another. An addiction. And they didn't care. They just wanted one another. Aspen leaned her forehead against Bucky's and they closed their eyes together for a moment. "The feeling is very mutual." She whispers onto his lips before giving him one last kiss. She pulls away and smiles at him. He bites his lip looking at her scans every inch of her.

So many thoughts were running through Bucky's mind but the main one, was why he didn't realize how he felt about her sooner? What did he ever do to deserve her? And he would do everything in his power to make sure he didn't let her go. She was everything to him at this point. He had Steve but not the way he had Aspen. And as much as Steve tried, he would never understand bucky's pain. But Aspen did. As much as Bucky hated that Aspen understood his pain, he hated she had to have felt the same pain he did, went through the same stuff he did, he was grateful for her being there for him through everything.

He laughs and rolls his eyes. "Okay bossy." He teases Aspen. "Where were you earlier anyway? I was looking for you." He tells her. "I was talking to Nat." Aspen tells him. "About me?" He asks being cocky. Aspen pulls away from him and starts to head out the door. "You don't get to know my secrets Barnes." She teases him, using his own words against him. And smiling back at him as she walks out his bedroom door.
