***Taylors POV***

It's been two weeks. Two weeks of having Jay to myself as my fiancée. It's safe to say this is the best outcome I could have ever asked for. I could never have imagined we would be engaged. So soon. But nothing felt more right in my life. Maybe it's the sea air, the heat or the Pina coladas but I've never been happier in my entire life.

So far we've done everything together, swam with dolphins and visited the Great Barrier Reef. We were determined to do all of the things on our list before returning back home. We also made sure to take a few days just to relax and chill with one another. I bought a few dresses and clothes and even some high heel sandals to wear back home. You know to all of those parties.
We have truly sampled some amazing food, he has wined and dined me daily. Letting me get dressed up and taking me out and then showing me the best night of my life every single chance he got.

I glance at my phone whilst laying in the heat, Jay has momentarily gone to the store for more food and Prosecco. Looking down at my tan makes me happy. Jay keeps commenting on how this climate suits me, how healthy and gorgeous my skin looks. The truth is he is just as tan as me and it's unbelievably hot how he looks with his tan and blonde hair.

I push my hair away from my face and check in with my phone, it's the end of our holiday and we're flying back tomorrow evening. I need to reconnect with the world outside of our utopia or I will beg him not to take me home.

First is the messages on my phone, from just about everyone in my life. I go through them one by one.
Rachel has messaged me a few times about parties clearly forgetting that I'm away. Her last drunken message makes me laugh.

Shit yeah I forgot, Ross just reminded me that you two are away my bad, enjoy your holiday and see you both when you're back. Lots to catch up on. We miss you. And Jay kinda. lol.

I text her back smiling to myself.

Can't wait to see you all again, Tay.

Next I move on to my messages from Ross.

Hope you're having the best time. I miss you. Catch you when you're back. Make sure you do come back. R x

I smile. I do not deserve him.

Will be on the plane tomorrow. You can be sure of that, got a dance career to pursue! Hope you've had a nice break from uni. Miss you all. See you soon. Oh I found a book store that you would like- I may have brought you back something. Tay x

I expect messages from those two not so much the next person that pops up on my list. Matthew. We are friends, but we have very much been more than friends. We've got our history and I've unpacked the feelings I had for him and placed them all back into a little lock box where they will remain.

Taylor. I know you're enjoying your time abroad. Sipping cocktails in a bikini is the life. I'm happy that you're happy but I miss you. Of course I do. Right now I'm at Ross' sitting on the kitchen counter and he's been going on about some English shit for around an hour maybe more. And I keep thinking wow if Tay were here she would be on his level and she would buffer this conversation I'm supposed to be having with him.

I laugh out loud. That is totally what would be happening. It has before, I love talking to Ross about literature, but not everybody does unfortunately.
