"I was going to say earlier; let's go to uni together tomorrow" I comment. I laugh at his expression of shock and horror. We're in the car together, we had to get in the SUV as we're going off road. Im not looking at the spot where I was pinned up against the bonnet by my attacker. At the moment I'm focusing on the views.
I'm literally wearing what I would wear to bed; a pair of silk lounge shorts and a matching cami. The plan is to escape, in my best lounge wear, and enjoy being without worry for a few days at least. Jay strokes my bare leg and rests his hand there on my thigh.

"No way, Taylor" he chuckles lightly.
"You think that I would let you go into university tomorrow? Your mental health is so important. We both need to have a break. Not gonna happen." He laughs.

"I like this set. A lot" he smiles.
"You look so chill and sexy" he says touching the soft silky shorts.

"I'm so glad you're headstrong" I chuckle.

"I wouldn't really have gone to uni, I'd much rather hang out at a lodge with you" I laugh.

"I don't know what I would do without you" I say to him glancing over and winking. Since we have left to go to the lodge my spirits have gone up. The idea of a hot tub outside looking over a lake and a glass of champagne somewhat cheers you up. Even after tragedy.

"When we get there, I will unpack. I've had dinner ordered to the lodge too so I want you to just relax and take in the scenery" he smiles.

"And maybe lay around teasing me in these little shorts" he laughs.

"Shorts your thing, Jay?" I laugh teasing him.

"You're my thing" he laughs.

We head off of the interstate, we've been driving for around three hours. Way out of town, now Jay is cruising up a single lane track road. It's dark out and if you look out of the window you can see the stars twinkling in the night sky. The moon beams down over our car and I breathe out a sigh of relief.

A deep breath which I hadn't realised I had been holding all of this time.
"Better already, when you can feel the warm air and smell the lake you will love it" he smiles over at me and I can see an excited gleam in his eyes. They're shining, like he is part of the twinkly stars and the glowing moon.

"You've been here before" I comment smiling catching onto his sense of excitement.

"Only once." He laughs.

"But to a family lodge, with my mum and dad. Not to this particular one, that has a hot tub in the middle of nowhere" he smiles.

We're making every effort to keep everything light and focus on the positives rather than why we're escaping.

"Nearly there" he smiles over at me and I can't help but feel excited. The prospect of just me and him together in a lodge in the middle of nowhere excites me beyond belief.

We head up a small mound, with trees either side. Once we reach the peak Jay turns left and as I gaze out of the windscreen I can see a lake rippling in the distance. Beautiful inky water reflecting the moon.

"Look just into the distance, Taylor" he whispers.

I glance at him and notice how he is concentrating and looking ahead. I follow his eye-line and see a building. A wooden lodge. Lit up and welcoming. It's the only one for miles. Facing the lake and I cannot wait to wake up and see the views tomorrow.

"That's our one" he smiles.

We drive up to the lodge and Jay parks out front. When I jump out of the car I take a breath of the air and smile looking up at the twinkling stars.

Jay walks around the car to join me and puts his arms around my waist.

"I mean it" he whispers in my ear.

"This is our one" he says softly kissing my neck.

"Ours for a week" I say
He pulls me around to face him,

"Ours for more than just a week. Ours for all of the weeks and all of the months and years of the rest of our lives" he says staring into my eyes.

I just stare at him.

"You bought a lodge" I say laughing.

"I bought us a lodge" he laughs.

I kiss him intensely.

"I figure we can rent it out as a holiday home when we don't wanna use it" he says once he's caught his breath back.

He picks me up and I straddle his waist. He laughs and walks with me up the wooden steps onto the decking.

It's has a coded entry system and he scans his code into the buzzer, quite a skill when you are also holding your fiancée.

"The keys are inside as we are owners. The code refreshes so when we need to let others stay we can do that instead of giving them keys" he says simply.
I stare into his eyes and smile. I can feel the heat between us instantly. He makes my world safe and happy and all of my worries are long forgotten around him. I push my hips slightly into him almost instinctively and he carries me over the threshold of our lodge.

Wordlessly and without fully taking in the lodge and our new surroundings he pins me against the nearest wall. I pull at his belt and as he sets me down he pulls my little shorts off smiling.

He picks me back up delicately and looks into my eyes, my thighs either side of him.
"I love you" he whispers and he's inside of me.

"I love you" I gasp as his thrusts push me into the wall.

My hands clasping around his neck and holding onto him. He picks up his pace and I feel him inside of me. Pulling him into me and desiring his completion.

"Jay" I whisper.

And he looks at me his eyes burning into mine; lost and intense. Primal almost. I wipe his hair off of his face and he pulses into me slowly waiting for me to continue.

"I want to have your babies" I say and I can't believe it's just left my mouth. I expect him to freak out but he takes me by surprise.

"God" he says unable to control himself and I can feel him finishing inside of me. Intensely and urgently. Hammering into me as I too find my finish. It's a good job we're in a desolate location as we're loud. Louder than we've ever been before. I briefly wonder whether being in the wilderness had brought out our primal instincts and laugh a little.

I look down and he's still inside of me holding onto my hips and kissing me. He looks into my eyes and I just can't even tell how much time has gone by since we finished.

"That was" he says breathless watching me

"I hope that was okay" I begin

"To say that I mean" I add and he kisses me lifting me up and onto the sofa. Which is a huge corner sofa. Facing a warm fire which we are yet to start. He wraps me up in the cosy wool blankets.

He's pulled shorts on and I admire his bare chest and the sheer physical perfection of him.

He kneels in front of me and I hold onto his strong forearms. He makes eye contact with me and I can see the same trusted expression on his face of awe.

"That was" he pauses and smiles

"That was everything I've wanted and everything that I've wanted to hear you say" he says simply. He leans in kissing me on my lips.

"Now I'm going get a fire going and some food" he says. His eyes briefly glancing at my lips before he heads over to the door.
