"Jisoo, I'm going out." Seungcheol said, not glancing up from his phone.

"Where?" Jisoo asked.

"Why are you being so nosy? It's none of your business, really. Be happy I didn't just disappear." Seungcheol said with a scoff.

Jisoo was about to say something, when footsteps were heard.

"Babe I have to work on a project with someone." Seungcheol said, immediately forcing a smile.

"Oh okay! Do you need help with anything?" Jisoo offered, plastering on a fake smile as well.

"No, I'm okay. Thank you, baby." Seungcheol said, Jisoo's mother walking in the room at that exact second.

"You both are so cute together. I can't believe its been two years already- actually more than that." She said with a smile.

"Yes, ma'am. And I've enjoyed every moment with your son. He's perfect." Seungcheol said, knowing what Jisoo's mother wanted to hear.

"Ah yes. Don't forget about the family gathering that is this evening. It is a celebration of my brother's birthday." Jisoo's mother said, Jisoo's eyes widening.

He calmed himself before speaking.

"Your brother? As in uncle Chwe?" Jisoo asked.

"Yes. Which means that troubled son of his will be present." His mother answered with a scoff.

Ah. Hansol and his reputation. I wish everyone wouldn't speak of him that way. But at least I'll get to see him!

"Anyways, I expect you both to attend. Together. No extras. Dress elegantly. It will be held in the ball room, and will begin promptly at 6:30." Jisoo's mother said before walking out of a room.

"Isn't that just great? I have to go. And I can't invite Jeonghan."

"At least you'll have me." Jisoo said, smiling.

"Like that'll do anything. Jeonghan has personality. You're so fucking plain, you always have been." Seungcheol said, Jisoo's smile falling.

"Why do you always do this to me? You're a terrible boyfriend, yet I suck it up. But me? I do everything you ask, and it's still never enough." Jisoo said.

"Don't try to pin this on me." Seungcheol said standing from Jisoo's bed.

Well last I checked, our relationship is as shitty as it is because of you.

"How? You're at fault." Jisoo said, standing up as well.

"I'm at fault? You've been taking Seokmin up your ass since you've been assigned to mentor him!" Seungcheol yelled.

"You've been screwing Jeonghan for who knows how long!" Jisoo yelled, Seungcheol grabbing him by the shirt.

"The shit I do is none of your business."

"Same here. You keep fucking my so-called best friend, and I'll be with someone who doesn't treat me like shit unless my parents are around." Jisoo said, taking Seungcheol's hand off his shirt.

"Your parents would never approve of such a fuck up. He's on the damn list for crying out loud! So you break up with me, you're getting all the backlash. So what if I cheated on you? You did as well. And you're Hong Jisoo. Aren't you supposed to be forgiving of everyone? Our future is set in stone, so you might as well stop fighting it. Later, babe." Seungcheol said before smirking and walking out of Jisoo's room.
