Jorah yawned, stretching lazily as he shuffled to the kitchen, eyes half-closed. "Good morning." a voice greeted him when he arrived.
"Jesus!" he jolted at the sudden greeting.Nine was already dressed and bright eyed, script in hand.
"You scared me." Jorah frowned, realizing he'd completely forgotten about his new housemate.
Nine looked at him quizzically.
"What?" Jorah followed Nine's gaze and noticed he was just in his underwear, a slight tent visible. "Quit looking at me," he scolded. "This is my house. I usually sleep like this."
Nine offered no response. With a sigh, Jorah grabbed a bottle of water and took a long drink, wondering how he could get used to living with this guy. Maybe he should just move to the penthouse next door or one of his other houses
As tempting as it sounded, he didn't want to be nagged to death by Tanner.
With a shrug, he dragged himself back to his room and returned a short while later in sweatpants and a shirt, his hair flowing free. "What?" he raised a brow when he saw Nine looking at him again.
"What now?" he raised a brow when he realized Nine was looking at him again "I'm dressed now.".
"N-. It's nothing." Nine looked away. "I put the dishes in the dishwasher."
"Uh... thanks," Jorah replied, setting about making himself coffee. It was strange having someone in his house like this. On the rare occasions someone stayed over, they would usually wake up in his bed, not reading in his kitchen.
As his coffee brewed, Jorah checked his messages: Janice, Avalon, and Jade had all gotten home safely. Nine's phone rang.
"Hello? You're here? Okay, I'm coming down." Grabbing his script and belongings, he got up. "See you later," he threw over his shoulder at Jorah.
Jorah glanced at his phone. 9 a.m. They weren't scheduled to shoot until 6 p.m. "He's leaving early," he muttered to himself.
, recalling their conversation from the previous night. Nine had an upcoming concert, making him busier than usual.Suddenly, he remembered the discussion from the previous night. Not only was he working on the series, he also had an upcoming concert which meant he was probably super busy.
Since his friends had practically turned their impromptu dinner into a getting to know you session for Nine, he'd ended up learning more about him than he'd cared to.
By the end of dinner, he'd managed to collect Jade, Avalon and Janice's numbers.Jorah frowned. It wasn't like he wanted to call him anyway. It was already bad enough he had to live with him.
Jorah sighed, pushing thoughts of Nine out of his mind. Screw him. He grabbed his coffee and an apple, taking a bite as he walked to the window overlooking the streets. Life really was an interesting thing.

Norris frowned as he was jostled and pushed aside in the crowded café. Despite his small frame, he was by no means invisible. He'd been in line for quite a while but hadn't made it to the counter.
Others were constantly being served before him, people who'd just walked in greeted by name and handed their orders. It was his first time here; no one knew his name. Did someone need to know him to get served?
He looked at his watch. 8:45. He had to be on set in the next 30 minutes. He didn't want to be late.
As he turned to leave, he collided with someone.
