Nine stirred in bed. His eyes were still closed as he threw his hand to his boyfriend's side of the bed. Empty at first touch.
Nine reached out again, finding only emptiness. Nine opened his eyes and looked at Jorah's spot.
Yawning, he sat up in bed and began looking around the room. Jorah was nowhere in sight. Reaching to the bedside table, Nine grabbed his phone and looked at the time, 7 am. He knew his boyfriend was not an early riser, especially when he didn't have early calls or work, like today.
Nine was about to scoot out of bed when the bedroom door opened.
"There you are." he looked at Jorah who was carrying a tray in hand. In the glow of the morning, his fresh face still looked dazzling as he smiled. "I thought I lost you." Nine teased.
"Were you sad?" Jorah gave Nine a peck "Good Morning."
"G'morning." Nine replied with a smile. He looked at the tray. "What's this?"
"This." Jorah set it down carefully. "Is breakfast in bed for my hard working boyfriend."
"Aww.." Nine looked at the items. "Did you make it yourself?" he asked.
"I did." Jorah replied proudly "So..be warned."
Nine chuckled, having full knowledge of why he was given the warning.
There were eggs, sausage, toast and fruit. Some juice and a single red rose finished the presentation on the tray. Taking the fork, Nine picked up one of the sausages. Jorah watched in anticipation of his boyfriend's review.
Slowly, Nine raised the fork and took a bite of the sausage. "Well?" Jorah asked
Nine chewed for a bit before a tease of a smile graced his lips. "It's good," he replied. Jorah smiled in relief.
"I like it." he looked at the sausage on his fork before sticking it back into his mouth. This time when he put it in his mouth, he wasn't intent on taking a bite immediately. Instead, he sucked on it a little.
"What are you doing?" Jorah asked.
"Enjoying your sausage." Nine replied innocently.
Jorah's eyes dipped to Nine's mouth that was teasing with that long object in its opening.
"You are such a bad boy" Jorah couldn't take his eyes off the sausage.
"How am I a bad boy?" Nine feigned ignorance. "I'm not supposed to eat my food so I can grow up a big boy?"
"You should," Jorah replied as he lifted the tray and set it on the bedside table. Next he took the fork from Nine's hand. When he did so, the sausage was suspended from Nine's mouth. "You should share with me so I can grow up a big boy too."
Nine's eyes flitted to Jorah's shorts. "You're already a big boy."
All this flirting was making Jorah's temperature rise. He took the other end into his mouth. They each bit from their ends until their lips finally touched.
That one touch of their lips sent sparks flying. After they'd both swallowed their portions, Jorah kissed Nine. "What are you doing?" Nine asked.
"Eating." Jorah replied before kissing Nine's neck.
"The food is over there." Nine pointed out.
Jorah glanced at the tray before sniffing Nine. "But you smell and look so delicious."
At Jorah's tease Nine's breath hitched.
"Should I try?" Jorah pulled back and looked into Nine's eyes.
