There was a flurry of activity in the hotel room. Music filled their ears as stylists busied themselves with preparing the talent.
Nine was sitting in the chair beside Jorah while the woman standing above him worked artfully to style his hair that was now dyed black again.
That eyebrow piercing caught the light whenever he turned his head ever so slightly. Jorah liked the way it looked on him. In fact, he was slowly coming to realize that Nine could do no wrong with his looks. No matter what he wore, no matter what colour his hair was, it all looked great.
While Nine's stylist was working quickly, Jorah could feel hesitation with his stylist. She'd been fiddling with his hair for an unusual length of time, alternating between pulling his hair in a heap and letting it fall free.
Jorah frowned.
"He's just too handsome isn't he?" Nine asked the stylist
The young woman looked at him. "Excuse me?"
"I guess I understand." Nine looked at Jorah "He looks so good with it both ways it's hard for you to decide."
The young woman blushed slightly, while Jorah looked at Nine.
"Leave it down." he told her. "He looks really handsome with it that way." Jorah raised a brow. "That's if he doesn't mind." he added quickly.
"Mr. Jindaya?" The stylist consulted with him.
"You can leave it down." Jorah assented.
The stylist nodded and began to coif his hair accordingly. She parted his hair on the left side and swept the mass of hair into shiny loose waves to the right of his head.
"Perfect." Nine smiled when Jorah's stylist was finished. Jorah did not meet Nine's gaze.
After hair and makeup, the last step was outfits.
For this very event, the duo had to be at the top of their game. That's exactly why their outfits were colour coordinated. Of course, Jorah protested for a number of reasons. He hated the idea of coordinating outfits with Nine and the idea of wearing anything but casual clothes even less.
Though he'd been irked his protests had fallen on deaf ears, now his complaints were not as fervent as he looked at Nine who was wearing a white oversized shirt with one half of the tail tucked into his waist and a pair of black pants. Around his neck was a leather choker. On his finger were multiple silver rings which seemed to shine even more since he was wearing black nail polish. His dark hair was parted down the middle. His eyeliner was smoky and his lips were pink.
As suggested by Nine, Jorah's hair was down. He wore a black blazer, black pants and white button down. For jewellery he only wore a watch. This was the most he'd agreed to.
Now that they were dressed, the pair stood by each other before the mirror to give themselves a final look.
Though he should have been looking at his own reflection, Jorah's focus was wholly on Nine's reflection.
His eyes met Nine's in the reflection of the mirror.
"Hm?" Nine looked at him.
"Nothing." Jorah looked away and adjusted his blazer. "I guess this works."
"Nine." Manager Kim joined them. "You look amazing." he beamed, fixing parts of his outfit that needed no adjustment."
Jorah smirked. "What about me?" he asked. "Don't I look nice?"
When he was ignored, Jorah chuckled. As though he actually needed this buffoon's flattery .
"Nine. As you know, this event is very important for production. These are the backers and sponsors of the series." Nine nodded in understanding. "You've done this before. Just greet, smile and so on." Nine nodded again.
