Nine's mind was reeling. He hadn't had time to react or process the moment.
Their lips were entangled in frenzied kisses, the only sounds were the smacking of their lips and little moans of heated desire. Pressed against the door, Jorah shrugged off his jacket, dropping it to the floor before cupping Nine's face as he kissed him.
Nine was losing his ability to think clearly. He was drunk on these dizzying kisses. It was only when Jorah reached for his top button that clarity struck.
"Wait." Nine pushed Jorah away, breathless.
Jorah closed the gap, trying to kiss him again.
"Wait," Nine stepped aside. "What are you doing? Are you drunk?"
Jorah chuckled. The last time they'd kissed outside of work they'd both been drinking. "I'm not drunk." Jorah walked towards Nine.
Nine was persistent. "Why are you doing this?"
"Why do you think?" Jorah turned the question on him
"I don't know." Nine admitted. "I'm confused...you said.."
"I know what I said.." Jorah looked at him.
"Then what are you doing?" Nine questioned again.
Jorah took a deep breath. "I can't do it anymore, okay? I can't pretend I don't think about you all the time. I can't pretend I don't want to touch you, kiss you, be near you." Nine couldn't hide his shock. "I can't pretend I don't miss you like crazy when you're away. Nine, Kailen Kim... I like you. A lot."
Nine blinked. Stunned into silence. "Lies."
"Yes I lied to you before.." Jorah admitted softly "But not now.." There was silence. "Well?" Jorah looked at Nine expectantly.
Nine stepped closer to him and grabbed his head between his hands before twisting his head this way and that.
"What are you doing?" Jorah was confused.
"Looking for bumps." Nine replied. "Did you have any falls lately? Dizzyness? Blurred vision? How many fingers am I holding up?"
Jorah laughed before pulling Nine into his arms. "As a matter of fact, I did."
Nine's brow was creased with concern "You did?"
"I fell for you." Jorah grinned, touching his nose to Nine's.
"Seriously?" Nine blushed furiously. "Lammeee"
Jorah's smile faded. "Seriously. I've fallen in love with you." Nine gasped. "And I'm so happy and excited..and scared."
Nine put a hand on Jorah's chest. "There's something in this world that can scare you?"
With an unwavering gaze, Jorah replied. "More than you know."
They held each other's gazes for a few moments before their lips met once more.
As they kissed, each of their hearts soared in freedom. There was no longer the veil of pretense. Only their feelings existed.
The kiss deepened as they made their way towards the bed. Nine fell backwards into the bed, looking up at Jorah, lips were parted in anticipation.
Jorah smiled softly at Nine before tenderly kissing his forehead, then his eyes, nose, cheeks, and chin. His fingers pressed into Nine's waist as he tried to temper the overwhelming desire to wreck him.
He'd never slept with a man before, and the thought filled him with an alien terror, but he needed Nine desperately. He bit his lip before flicking his tongue over Nine's in a tease.
