Incoming call: Jorah Jindaya.
Nine smiled. "Hey." He picked up the call.
[Hey yourself. How are you?]
Nine stifled a yawn. "Tired. But I'll live."
[You better live..I can't imagine not having you in my life]
Nine bit his lip and blushed - Jorah was doing it again. Saying those heart fluttering things.
"How are you?" Nine changed the subject. "You suddenly had to fly to Taipei. Did you get everything resolved?"
[I did] Jorah sighed. [One of the headaches of business. I couldn't let Zhuzhi handle it on her own. So I had to go.]
Nine pouted. He hadn't seen Jorah for three whole days after there was a manufacturing issue with SerenTech.
He had to admit, that side of Jorah was an incredible turn on. As an actor, his reputation and presence was intriguing but in the business world, his dominance was resplendent.
Since Jorah's return to the business world, he'd been featured on more magazine covers than Nine could keep track of.
They'd only been dating for a few weeks but in that time, they'd become practically inseparable. No matter when his schedule ended or if Jorah had been in meetings all day, he would make time to see Nine.
Now that he wasn't there, Nine could feel the chasm of Jorah's absence "When will you be back?" He asked.
When Jorah sighed, Nine's heart sank. [I don't know. This is taking longer than I want it to but everything has to be in order for the launch next week so we're cutting it really close.]
"I understand." Nine replied.
[Yeah. Sorry I haven't been there]
"It's fine." Nine replied. "You're needed there."
[Zhuzhi sent me the schedule for the remainder of the shoots. Hopefully I get this wrapped up in time ]
"Me too." Nine replied.
[Fuck!] Jorah suddenly exclaimed.
Nine's heart jolted. "What's wrong?"
[Shit! I've got to go. Something is up with a server.] Before Nine could enquire more, Jorah ended their call [I'll call you before you go to sleep]
Nine sighed when the line went dead. It seemed something was happening over there. He just hoped Jorah was ok.
After hearing his boyfriend's voice, Nine's melancholy deepened as he swore in his heart to hold Jorah tightly in his arms when they finally reunited.
He would hug him, kiss him and perhaps do even more. Nine's face flushed. They hadn't talked about it but he knew it was on Jorah's mind as well. When they would do it and what they would do.
On the sly he'd done some research to prepare himself.
In the past he'd done cursory research in preparations for roles but how could acting compare to real life? On screen it was all smoke and mirrors–angled shots, bodies wrapped in layers of cloth and foam padding in between.
It was in no way similar to actually making love with someone that you liked. There would be fluff, no guards-- just skin on skin. Body entering body.
Nine bit his lip, feeling incredibly nervous about the whole thing. He could hardly wait to be with Jorah again.
With these thoughts filling his mind, Nine barely noticed when the choreographer called out to him.
"Nine!" His choreographer clapped to get his attention "Break is over." Nine nodded and yawned as he stretched his hands on his way to the mark.
