Nervousness. Excitement. Dread. Jorah's insides were on a turnstile. Outwardly, he was a picture of coolness and control, but inside, he was a mess. He'd barely gotten enough sleep thinking about today.
Nine on the other hand, had slept like a baby, oblivious to the panicking man beside him.
With each tick of the clock, the moment drew closer. For the first time in a long while, Jorah wished for filming to be suspended. He couldn't do this.
But things didn't go according to his wishes. They were ahead of schedule, and he cursed the universe for conspiring against him. Time flew by, and soon they were calling for the actors to be on set.
Despite his inner turmoil, Jorah's legs moved him forward, a testament to years of training as an heir. Never let them see you sweat.
Jorah took a deep breath. It was only a kiss. Granted, a kiss with a man. But he'd kissed that man before so it was no big deal.
A sharp exhale later, he was on set. When Nine joined him, his heart pounded like a conga drum.
"Ready to do this?" Nine asked casually.
"Whenever you are," Jorah replied, trying to sound equally casual.
Nine smiled as the makeup artist touched up his lips. Jorah's eyes followed, knowing those lips would soon be on his.
The seat was ready and the shot was marked.
"Scene 12/1. Shot 1. Take 1."

The Protector: The Series
Ryder grabbed Landon's hand and spun him to face him.
Ryder grabbed Landon's hand, spinning him to face him. "Will you stop it!" he shouted.
Landon's eyes flashed with stubborn fury. "Who do you think you're talking to?" He threw off Ryder's hand. "And don't touch me!"
Ryder's chest heaved. "Why are you doing this? How could you be so reckless? Do you know what could have happened to you?!"
Annoyed, Landon shoved Ryder. "Why do you care? It's my life! You don't care about me! You said it yourself. I'm just your boss."
I didn't mean it like that." Ryder clarified stepping closer to Landon " Of course I care about you."
Landon shoved him again. "Liar!" He attempted another shove, but Ryder grabbed his wrists. "Let go! I'll fire you. Let me go!"
This was the mark. Jorah's heartbeat increased. He couldn't break character.
Heeding the cue, Nine, as Ryder, kissed Jorah.
Jorah tried to keep his focus. In this moment, he was Landon.
For the first second, their lips were pressed against each other's stubborn defiance and contained passion. When Ryder realized Landon was no longer pushing him away, Ryder dropped Landon's wrist. One hand held the back of his head, the other held him by the waist.
Ceasing his resistance, Landon melted into that kiss, parting his lips for Ryder to kiss him more deeply.
Without breaking their kiss, Ryder stepped forward until Landon's back was against the wall. Their lips parted, breaths ragged, eyes locked.
Ryder's eyes dipped to Landon's lips as his thumb grazed Landon's jawline. They held each other's gazes before their lips met again, in a slow, teasing kiss.
"Cut!" The Director yelled.
Jorah's lips lingered on Nine's, his hand gently tracing the line of Nine's jaw
