The tips of Norris' ears were so red that extra makeup had to be applied to mitigate his obvious blush
The campfire's flames danced, casting a warm glow on Norris' face as he laid on his back on the blanket with a canopy of stars glittering overhead.
Waves crashed behind them in a symphony while a gentle breeze rippled through the air. This would be quite the romantic scene---if it wasn't work.
Norris shivered, and Gage glanced at him, suppressing the urge to ask if he was cold. The fire was vibrant, but the ocean breeze was biting and Norris wasn't fully dressed.
Even he felt a little chilly and his frame was larger than Norris'. Besides, he had experience shooting in worse weather before. This was also not his first time shooting an intimate scene. He'd even done it on a full set. For today's shoot, the set was closed.
Filming for Gage and Norris' scenes was on a secluded area of the beach. He and Norris were lying on a blanket by a bonfire.
This was their third attempt, and Gage hoped it would be the last. Norris had sneezed a few times, and Gage wanted him out of the cold.
Outside of just the Director's vision and desire to get the perfect footage, Gage could not say things were going badly. Surprisingly, Norris was holding his own.
Sand was getting everywhere, parts of his skin was red and occasionally he would shiver from the chill of the ocean breeze but he never complained.
The shot was finally marked, signalling the beginning of their third attempt at the scene.

The Protector: The Series
Nuea held Chase's wrist as they kissed. Their lips were still joined as he eased that hand on to the blanket, lacing their fingers together.
Leaving Chase's lips, Nuea lovingly kissed the side of his lovely face. His hands travelled languidly down the length of Chase's bare chest.
Those fingertips were followed by kisses that set Chase's skin ablaze at each point of contact. Chase's fingers made tracks in Nuea's hair as his body was dotted with kisses.
This sensation. The slight chill of the breath, the warmth of Gage's lips were making Norris' scalp tingle and his heart beat out of control.
Norris raised his back from the blanket to get a better look when Gage suddenly stopped kissing.
Their gazes looked and like a predator, Gage snaked his way up Norris' body until they were eye level. They held each other's gaze before Gage gripped Norris' chin between his index and forefinger, forcing him to lay on his back once more.
When Norris was on his back, Gage delivered a soul crushing kiss.
Norris squeezed his eyes shut. He could feel it. A foreign emotion was brimming inside. Like a tidal wave, hurtling to the shore that would destroy everything in its path, he couldn't stop it.
It was a tiny sound that escaped his lips before the first tear came. Hearing that sound, Gage's body froze. He slowly backed away to look at the person laying under him.
As Norris laid on his back, tears began to roll from his eyes, trickling down the side of his face. Gage's heart hitched.
In an instant, the atmosphere on set shifted. Translucent tears slid from Norris' eyes in a steady stream, down the side of his face, disappearing into the folds of the blanket.
