chapter 121

"Derek shepherd" the principle calls out his name. I'm sat with dereks family in the audience. We all clap as he goes onto stage. I take a bunch of pictures of him.

After its over, he walks straight over to me. "Der-" I smile. He puts his hands on my waist, kissing me deeply infront of everyone.

I smile wider as he pulls away slowly. "What was that for?" I blush. "I wouldn't have passed a single exam if it weren't for you" he says. "Derek, you can do anything" I hug him.

"I'm so proud of you" I pull away slowly. He smiles. "Thank you" he kisses my cheek softly. He hugs his family.

I get invited to go out to dinner with his family afterwards to a buffet place. I've never been here before.

We're in a restaurant. Its me, derek, Carolyn, amelia, Nancy, liz, Kathleen, Christopher and both dereks grandmas and grandads.

We're sat in a big booth and I'm sat between him and Carolyn. I'm sat right next to him. He has his arm wrapped around my shoulder as he talks to his family.

"Derek" I whisper. He looks at me. "Can you get me some more food please?" I ask quietly. I'm a bit too nervous to ask his grandparents to move, so i can get out of the booth.

"Yeah baby, what do you want?" He asks. "Some more pizza" I say. He slides away from me. I pull him back. "And- and some fries.. and some chicken" I whisper. "Okay" he chuckles softly.

"Can I get out please?" He asks his grandma. She gets up and he goes to the buffet with my plate.

He comes back. "Thank you" I smile as he hands me the plate. "No problem" he smiles. He wraps his arm back around my shoulder. I eat my food.

I look at him. He smiles at me. "You okay?" He whispers. I nod. "Will you come back home with me after this?" I ask. "Of course" he stares into my eyes. I kiss him softly. He smiles brightly. He kisses me again.

"What's the deal with you two?" Carolyn asks. They all look at us. I blush. "Theres no deal" he says. "I thought you were broken up" Nancy says. "We are" he says.

"What?" They all ask. "We're friends" he says. "Who kiss?" His grandma asks. "Yes" he kisses me again. I giggle, blushing harder.

After dinner he comes back home with me. We're sat on the couch making out.

Carolyns pov:
I'm in bed next to Christopher. "Goodnight darling" he kisses me softly. "Night love" I say. We close our eyes.

"Ohhhh! Yes! Fuck!" I open my eyes immediately as I hear a loud moaning noise. "Oh my god" I sit up slightly, looking at Christopher.

"You think she has another guy over?" He asks. "Derek!" We hear her whimper. "Oh god" I make a face of disgust. "That's my son" Christopher chuckles. I hit him lightly before getting up.

I look outside and see she has her bedroom window wide open, but thankfully her curtains are closed. I close my window and the noise disappears. I let out a sigh of relief before getting back into bed.

Derek's pov:
She's literally gasping for breath, sitting next to me in the bed with sweat dripping down her naked body. "That was amazinngg!" She says. "I know" I smile.

She stretches out her shaky legs. "Come here gorgeous" I pull her into my arms. I chuckle as I realise how weak her whole body is when she wraps her shaky arms around me.

"I love you" she snuggles her face into my sweaty chest. "I love you too" I kiss her head.

"Why won't you come home?" She sighs. "Because I-I can't get over it, mer.. I'm trying but you hurt me" I whisper. "I didn't mean to" she whispers.

"You'd been distant.. and mean to me for a month, then you go out and kiss somebody else.. all I wanted to do was support you and make you happy" I say. "I know, I'm sorry derek" she says sincerely.

"I can't even describe to you how sorry I am.. I just want you back" she whispers, tearing up. "You still have me, baby" I say, trying to stop her from getting sad.

"I want you back home.. I'm lonely without you here" she starts crying. "I'm just next door" I say. "But you're not here" she says.

"You will eventually, won't you?" She asks. "What?" I ask. "We're going on all these dates and having all this sex because you're slowly forgiving me, right? You will come back home?" She asks hopefully.

"I love you baby, go to sleep" I whisper. She sighs. She cuddles into me. "Night" she mumbles angrily. I stroke her back until I know she's asleep.
