chapter 17

I wake up in the morning by myself. I see a note on the pillow next to me. I smile as I read it. He left to get ready for school.

I get out of bed and go to the bathroom, getting in the shower. Once I get out, I get ready, putting on a tight knee length skirt, a button up shirt and a coat over it.

I leave and go to school. I sit at my desk before class to get some work done. There's a knock at the window. I laugh as I see derek there.

I go over and open the window. He climbs in. "What are you doing!?" I hit him. He grins.

"I'm being early to class.. like a good student" he says. I roll my eyes. "What do you want?" I ask. "Nothing.. just to see you again" he says. I smile.

"Sit down" I say. He walks towards my desk. "At your desk!" I say. He grins, sitting at his desk. I put a piece of paper on his desk.

"What's this?" He asks. "Your homework for cristina's class.. do it now!" I say firmly. He whines. "I was thinking you could actually teach me something else" he smirks.

"N- um.. teach you what?" I mumble. He stands up. He puts his hands on my waist, whispering in my ear. "Something that perhaps involves my tongue and.. um.. that thing you showed me yesterday" he whispers.

I chuckle softly. He looks into my eyes. I stumble slightly in my high heels. He chuckles softly, pulling me close.

My lips brush against his. "No!" I hit him, snapping out of it. He laughs quietly.

"Do your homework!" I walk to my desk, sitting down. I try to catch my breath as I continue to plan today's lesson.

"Would you rather learn about romeo and juliet today.. or analyse a poem about nature?" I ask. "Umm.. neither" he says. I roll my eyes. "Fine, romeo and juliet I guess" he says.

"Where did you tell you mom that you were last night?" I ask. "Marks" he says. "Does Mark know about us?" I ask. "No, I told him I'm with addison" he says. "Addison Montgomery?" I ask.

"Yeah, I have a date with her today" he says casually. I look at him. "It won't lead to anything.. I just have to so nobody gets suspicious" he says. "Fine" I pick my pen back up.

He walks over to me. "I'm sorry, do you have a problem with it?" He asks. "No, it's fine" I say.

"I didn't think it'd be a big deal.. its not like we're official or anything, right?" He asks. "Right" I say.

"If you don't want me to then-" he says. "Its fine" I say. "Okay" he says. "You're right, we're not even together.. we just had one date" I shrug. "Two dates" he says.

"So, I guess I can say yes to the date finn asked me on" I say. "Who?" He asks. "Mr Dandridge" I say. "He asked you out?" He asks. "Yep" I say.

"Fine, you do that" he says. "I will" I say. "Okay" he says. "Okay" I get up, leaving. I go to finn's classroom.

I knock on the door before walking in. "Hi meredith" he smiles, standing up. "Finn, I was wondering if you were still up for going out sometime?" I smile.

"Definitely.. when?" He asks. "Today" I say. "Oh, today is a bit-" he says. "Today is the only day I want to do it" I say. "Today it is" he says. "Okay, great" I leave.

I go back to my class. "Good morning" I smile as I see a few people are in their seats already. "Morning miss" they say.

"Derek did you do yoir homework?" I pick up the sheet. He's done 2 questions. "You have detention after school today" I say. "What? The homework isn't even for your class!" He says.

"I gave you an instruction to do your homework and you ignored it" I say. He scoffs.

"Are you arguing with me?" I ask. He looks into my eyes. "No" he says. "Bitch" he mumbles as I walk back to my desk. The other students gasp.

"Go to the principals office now" I say. He gets up, storming out. He slams the door shut behind him. I clear my throat. "Anyway" I go back to teaching the rest of the class.
