chapter 76

"Meredith! Meredith!" I hear a knocking at the door. "Derek, please.. tell her to go away" I whine into his chest, hugging him tighter.

"Go back to sleep.. I'll deal with it" he whispers. "Okay" I mumble, closing my eyes. "I love you" I say sleepily as he gently pulls me off of him, replacing his body with a pillow for me to lay on before leaving.

"I love you too, go to sleep" he whispers, kissing my cheek. I fall back asleep.

I wake up. I smile as I see the time. This is a good time to wake up, not 5am.

I reach behind me for derek. I sigh as I realise he's not there. I get up and don't even bother getting changed into something other than just his shirt before walking to my office.

"Good morning handsome" I stand behind him as he plays on the xbox. I lean down and kiss his neck. "Shh" he smiles, pulling me onto his lap. "It was nobody" he says into the mic. I kiss his cheek.

He pulls off the headset. "Good morning, did you sleep good?" He asks. "Yes, but I would've liked much better to have woken up with you next to me" I say. "Sorry" He smiles.

I cuddle my face into his neck. "Can I keep playing?" He asks. "Yes, of course you can" I chuckle softly. He picks up the controller.

I squeeze him tighter, curling up into a ball on his lap. "Derek" I whisper. "What the hell!?" He yells down the mic, moving his thumbs faster on the controller.

"Derek" I say quietly. "What the fuck do you want!?" He snaps. I look at him shocked. He realises what he did and pulls off the headset quickly.

"I'm sorry" he says. He puts his hand on my cheek, kissing my lips softly a few times. I just stare at him in disbelief."Mer, I'm sorry" he says.

He keeps looking at me. He looks scared. "If you ever talk to me like that again, you will get your ass broken up with so fucking fast" I get up and leave the room.

I'm in the kitchen making breakfast when he walks in. "Hey" he puts his hands on my waist. I look at him. "I am sorry, I have a bad temper when I'm playing games" he says. "Its okay" I say. He kisses me.

"Come cuddle with me again" he says. "Okay, I'm just making this first" I say. "Okay" he walks away.

I plate up the food and go back upstairs. I put the food on the desk infront of him. I climb onto his lap. I sit back in a ball position, getting comfortable.

I start eating the food. I hold some up to his lips. He eats it. "You cold?" He pulls a blanket over us both. I nod. "I don't like that I yelled at you.. I'm sorry" he says. "Sweetheart, I forgave you, its okay" I chuckle.

"I love you" he hugs me tight. "I love you too" I giggle. He puts his headset on me and passes me the remote. "I don't know how to play this" I say. He teaches me.

"You're good" he smiles, watching me as I play. He takes a picture of me. "No pictures Derek, I've told you" I say, taking off the headset. "Please.. you have pictures of me" he says.

"I could lose my job if anyone saw any pictures of me on your phone" I say. "I'd never post them or send them to anyone" he says. I sigh. "Do you trust me?" He asks.

"Yes, of course I trust you" I say. "Then trust me with this too" he says. "Okay" I whisper.

"Can you send me more pictures?" He asks. "Yes, I will" I say. "I wanna start a meredith album" he says. I smile.

I scroll through my phone. I smile as I see a picture of us that his mom took on my phone. We're sat on the couch, me on his lap. My back is facing the camera and he's kissing my head, his arms wrapped around me.

I send it to him. I grab his phone and set the picture as his lockscreen. He grins at me. He kisses my lips a bunch of times. I giggle. I cuddle into him, closing my eyes. He wraps his arms around me.
