chapter 122

We're in the doorway of her house. I pull away from her lips slowly. "Thank you for last night baby, it was incredible" I whisper. She hugs me tight.

"When can we go out again?" She asks. "I was thinking you could choose our next date, I've chosen all of them so far.. if you want" I stroke her hair gently.

"Can we have a movie night?" She asks. "Yeah" I say. "Tonight?" She asks. "No, not tonight.. I'm too tired" I say. She sighs.

"Please?" She asks again. "I wanna give you a good night where we can watch a movie, cuddle and make love.. not one where I end up falling asleep ontop of you" I chuckle. She chuckles softly.

"Listen" I gently pull away from her. She looks at me. "I'll be here tomorrow at eight, okay? You can pick the movie" I stroke her cheeks with my thumbs. "Okay" she smiles. I kiss her softly.

"I'll be here later to drop off your food but I can't stay, sorry" I say. "Why?" She whines. "I wanna eat with my mom today" I smile small. "Okay" she says.

"Bye gorgeous, call me if you need anything" I leave. "Bye honey" she sighs before closing the door. I go home.

I knock on the door. She opens it. "Hi sweetie!" She slurs. "Hi baby, here's your food" I hand her the plate. "Thanks" she giggles.

"Have you had a bit too much wine?" I chuckle. "Cristina came over" she says.

She pouts her lips, moving closer to me. I chuckle, taking the hint and kissing her lips.

"You stink of wine" I spin her around and lead her to the kitchen. She sits at the table whilst I get her a knife and fork. She giggles.

"This is great der" she says with her mouth full of food. "Good" I kiss her cheek. "Bye bye" she waves at me as I walk away. "Bye mer, enjoy your food" I smile before leaving.

There's a knock on my door. I'm sat in the living room with amelia and my mom. I get up and answer it.

"Oh my god, hi gorgeous" I smile as I see meredith stood infront of me. "Here" she hands me the plate back. "Thank you" I put it aside.

I pull her into my arms. She giggles, hugging me back. I kiss her a bunch of times softly. "Come in" I pull her inside. "No, derek I-" she says.

"Watch a movie with us" I pull her into the living room and sit with her on my lap. "Hi" she giggles, looking at my mom. "Hi" my mom chuckles.

She hugs me, cuddling her face into my neck. I smile. "I love you" I mumble, kissing her cheek a few times softly.

"Are you tired?" I ask. She nods. "Okay, we can go to bed" I say. I gently lift her up. She stands. I get up. "Night" I say. "Night you two" my mom says. We go up to my room.

We get to my room and I pull her clothes off. "You took your contacts out, didn't you?" I ask. She nods. "I did so good today, huh?" She smiles.

I normally tell her off for leaving them in whilst drunk and making me take them out for her.

"Yeah, you did so good baby" I smile, kissing her head. She grins. "Get into bed, I'll be two minutes, okay?" I say. She nods. She climbs into my bed and pulls the covers over herself. I go into the bathroom.

I come back out in my pyjama bottoms and with my teeth brushed. I climb into bed next to her after switching off the light.

"Mer" I pull her into my arms. "Yeah?" She asks. "Have you been sleeping okay.. without me?" I ask nervously. She looks at me.

"No, of course not" she says. "I haven't either.. I've been using pillows to cuddle and everything but it's not the same" I say.

She chuckles softly. "What!?" I frown, getting defensive immediately. "Nothing sweetie, I think that's adorable" she says. "Don't laugh at me" I say. "I'm not, I'm sorry" she smiles.

"You're so cute" she hugs me. "But.. do you feel the same?" I ask. "Of course I do.. we went from being around eachother constantly and falling asleep in eachothers arms to an every other day thing" she says.

"I hate how attached I am to you.. I could never leave you ever" I say. She smiles wider. She kisses my face a bunch of times, making me laugh.

"I love you so much" she says. "I love you more" I say. She shakes her head. I nod. She cuddles into me. We very quickly fall asleep in eachothers arms.
