40 "It's okay. You're okay."

Tom's point of view
Quickly I try to cover her nearly naked body up with something.
I couldn't find a blanket, which was weird considering she's laying on her bed.

I take off my shirt and put it on top of her.

I can't believe he would do that do her.

"Lilith?" I carefully shake her.

Slowly she opens her eyes. She immediately jumps into my arms when she saw me and wraps her arms around me. "Thank you." She sobs.

"It's okay. You're okay."

I hold her and gently rub her back while she's sobbing into my shirt.
"I don't want to stay here, Tom."

"You want to spend the night at mine?" I ask her softly. She nods and lets go of me. The shirt nearly falling.

"Put your arms in the air." I say softly and take the shirt, without looking at anything. She does what I said and I put the shirt over her arms and her head.

"What are you gonna wear?" She asks looking up to me.

"Don't worry about me, Lilith."

She stands up and holds herself on my arm.

We walk downstairs and run into Sam. "Lilith what happened? Tom why are you shirtless?"

"Um.." I don't know if it's my place to say what happened.

"Ryan raped me." She says quietly and continues walking, pulling me with her.

The cold air outside feels like we're walking into a wall when we walked outside.

"We're going to your house?" She asks.

"Yes."

"Good."

We walk over to my car and I open the door for her. When she got in I closed it and got into the drivers seat.

I think she feel asleep while I drove home. "Lilith?" I ask quietly.

No response.

I sigh and get out and walk around the car. Opening her door and pulling her I to my arms, carrying her inside.

Carefully walking up the stairs and into my bedroom.

I gently lay her into my bed. When my touch left her body she jumped up.

She looked around and calmed down.

"I'll go change."

"No! No, no. Please don't go."

I've never saw her genuinely scared until now.

"Alright, I'll stay."

I grab a pair of sweatpants from my closet and change.

In front of her.

But I don't think she payed attention anyways.

Who would in her situation?

I laid down next to her. She snuggles herself next to me and I put my arm around her.

"He'll never hurt you again. I promise."
