Crowley had spent many days lying in the spare bedroom above the angels bookshop trying to regain strength in his legs, he had been on his knees for over two centuries and his legs were quite weak.

He was sitting on the edge of the bed stretching out his legs which looked very thin, there was practically no muscle on them what so ever and it was starting to annoy him, he hated sitting around doing nothing.

Crowley leaned his hand on the bedside table and attempted to stand, of course the angel chose that moment to enter the room.

"Crowley what are you doing?" asked the worried angel as he rushed over to the demon and helped him back onto the bed.

"I hate this angel, I need to move"

"I know my dear but you need to be patient"

"I have no patience, I lost it decades ago" said the demon who was at a loss.

"If you insist on doing this, allow me to help you?"

Crowley looked at Aziraphale and saw the worried face and it made him sad, he hated to worry his angel and so he agreed.

"Alright"

The angel put Crowley's left arm around his shoulders and helped up the demon who was having trouble getting his legs to bare his weight but he was doing it, Walking, no matter how slow.

The angel helped the demon into the living room and sat him down on the sofa, then he sat down next to him.

"Thanks angel, I was going stir crazy"

"I can't imagine, can I get you anything?" asked Aziraphale

"A blanket if its not too much trouble, I'm a little cold"

"Of course" the angel snapped his fingers and a blanket appeared in his hand, he draped it over the demon and sat back down next to him.

"Did you mean what you said my dear?"

"What did I say?"

"At the church"

"Angel I was so sleep deprived I don't remember anything about that day...was it important?"

"....No I don't believe it was....I'm sorry"

"For what?" asked the demon

"For not coming sooner"

"Angel you didn't know where I was, its not your fault, if anything its my fault for letting my guard down"

"Still I hate it took me so long to find you"

The demon took the angel's hand and smiled.

"What matters is that you did find me....anyway what have I missed?"

"Quite a lot... a few wars, new laws, new cultural advances, people have matured quite a bit"

"I sure hope so, its been two centuries" laughed Crowley

Crowley sat there still with the angels hand in his as he remembered what the angel was talking about.

"Crowley?"

"Angel, you came?"

"Of course I did, sorry it took me so long, I didn't know where you went"

"I don't care...I love you angel" whispered Crowley

Aziraphale was shocked but said "I...I love you too you wiley serpent, lets get you out of here"

"Are you alright?"

"I remembered what I said and...Yes I did mean it, did you?"

The angel stared at Crowley with wide eyes "Yes"

The angel smiled at the demon and he smiled back.

"I really missed you angel" said the demon as he leaned his head on the angels shoulder

"I missed you as well, very much" said the angel as he moved his arm and wrapped it around the back of Crowley.
