(Y/n)'s POV

The sun glistened off the glass in front of me, illuminating the water droplets sliding down the smooth surface. I closed my eyes as I laid on the table, waiting for the long moments to go past.

It wasn't until my mind was slowly drifting into a deep sleep that I felt myself being pushed to the side. Another set of hands steadied me from the other side. My eyes shot open to see Langa holding onto me and a triumphant Reki taking the seat I had unknowingly taken over.

"Bully."
"Idiot," he said.
"What were you doing? Taking a dump? I was waiting for ages."

Langa cracked up laughing as I teased my childhood friend. Reki gestured for Andre to sit down whilst shooting me a half-hearted glare. Langa squeezed my hand as he took the other empty seat beside me.

Joe then came forward with a bowl of cheesy garlic bread, which the boys immediately dug into, leaving me with nothing but a few crumbs. I glared at the three of them for stealing the entree I had ordered before Andre laughed and gave me one of the two pieces he had taken.

"Order your own food, guys."
"Mind translating for me, little troublemaker?" Andre teased.
"Just learn Japanese, ya couch potato."
"Actually I do know some Japanese."
"Oh yeah?"
"Little troublemaker," he said proudly in Italian-accented Japanese.

This time, it was Reki's time to laugh. I rolled my eyes, wondering why my friends were all big idiotic oafs. Joe came over a second time with my drink, which I took a massive sip of. Langa then reached for it, sipping the liquid like he had never tasted (f/d) before.

"You guys wanna order?" asked Joe.

Both Langa and Reki placed their orders and waited for Andre. I translated for him before he said something in Italian. Joe simply gave a thumbs up and went to go make our food.

"Do you guys usually come here to eat?" Andre asked.
"Yeah, Joe owns the place so we occasionally get freebies."
"Explain to me this 'S' again?"

A sigh escaped my mouth as I told him of the basic rules and description of the secret underground skating system for the third time. He listened as I then began to explain how and who created S.

Langa piped in and added that I was one of their top skaters along with Joe and Cherry. He also mentioned Adam, the legendary skater, where I reckoned Andre could take him on. Andre shot me a bemused smile, perhaps wondering how good I believed his skills to be.

"Langa, you forgot to mention yourself."
"For what?" he questioned, that cute oblivion slipping back in.
"He's Snow, known as the rookie skater who quickly rose the ranks and became one of the best there...well, he's not really a rookie anymore."
"Who's better between the two of you?" Andre asked.

Langa and I looked at each other before turning towards Reki and asking who was better. He awkwardly rubbed his neck and laughed, immediately commenting on the food Joe was bringing over.

"I guess I'll have to challenge you sometime, Snow. See how good you are," exclaimed Andre.

Langa nodded as if his life depended on it. Yuu suddenly was in my view and taking the last seat beside Andre. Luke's old friend stared at Yuu, trying to place who he was before recognition settled on his features.

"You're Yuri?" Andre asked tentatively.
"Yuu. I heard from (Y/n) what happened," he exclaimed.
"Well, it's nice officially meeting you. You don't look a lot like Luke. You three have the exact same eyes though. From your mum?"
"Thanks, I myself am very glad I didn't turn out ugly. And yeah, from our mum."

This had both Andre and I laughing. Yuu cocked a small smile before grabbing out some new invention to tinker with. Luke had been very popular at school with the girls. He had been considered one of the 'hot guys'. They only got more crazy about him after finding out about his underground skating.

"You guys going skating after this?" Joe asked as he came over another time.
"Definitely," Reki replied.
"Okay, let me come with. Just wait for me to close up shop."
"(Favourite pasta) and lemon iced tea," Yuu said before Joe had a chance to walk away.
"Geez, you kids are slave drivers."

We all grinned at him, making him heave a great sigh. Langa gripped my hand under the table before I opened mine and pressed a lolly against his palm. He didn't question my actions and peeled off the wrapper before eating it.

~Some time later~

Cherry looked at us with an annoyed expression, though he was mostly annoyed at my brother who had asked a hacker friend to hijack Carla and made her cancel Cherry's appointments for the night.

"You're very welcome. I saved you from becoming even more of a boring old man," Yuu exclaimed.
"I had work to finish, little kid. I'm not sure if you understand that," Cherry replied in irritation.
"I bet you I'll be making more than you when I'm your old age and it won't feel like I'm working because I'll actually enjoy my job."
"Burn," Reki said into the silence that followed.

I quietly translated what they said to Andre, who ended up laughing afterwards. He gestured towards Cherry and challenged him to a beef. Carla thankfully took up the job of translating in my stead.

Cherry accepted the challenge before the two of them were waiting at the starting line. It was unfortunate that S wasn't on tonight. The crowds would have went crazy to see some newcomer challenge the Cherry and yet, manage to keep up.

"And the terms?" asked Cherry.
"Loser pays for the winner's meals for a week," replied Andre.

The two readied their positions as the lights began flashing. Miya, Reki and Joe were already placing their bets on who would win. I rolled my eyes when they began arguing though it wasn't long before they refocused their attention on the beef. The lights turned green.
