SLEEP was one thing cassidy definitely needed. at this point it was no longer a want it was a need. after allison was born, cassie and nate had gotten little to no sleep, either allison's crying, needs to be changed or shes hungry.
as allison cried from her nursery, it could still be heard from cassie's room, so the blonde shoved a pillow on top of her face as she groaned. "can you please go get her?" cassie asked as she turned to nate, "i tended to her last night, its your turn blondie" he smiled at her as she rolled her eyes. "please" she pleaded as he laughed, "nope, but i will clean up our room" he said as she got up and started to walk to allison's room, "you should be doing that anyway" she laughed as she headed in to the nursey.
"come on babe" she said as she picked up her crying daughter into her arms. "oh damnit you have to be changed" cassie whined as she leaned on the doorframe. "babe can you warm up her milk please?" cassie asked her husband who was still laying in bed. "get up nate, you got to clean our room, warm allie's milk, then we drop her off my dad's, then you have to take me to that coffee shop near columbia, then we have work" cassie laughed. "i never said i was taking you to get coffee" he playfully yelled as she changed allison's diaper, "well your going too, now hurry up!" cassie yelled back.
shortly after dropping allison off at cassie's dad's place, cassie had practically forced nate to take her to her favorite coffee shop.
"do you remember the day i introduced you to this place?" nate asked as him and cassie strolled the streets of manhattan. "yes, you practically forced me to get on the subway" cassie remarked. "i did not force you, i convinced you" he laughed, "you ran away from me into the subway?" cassie laughed as she saw a familiar face sitting on a bench nearby.
"oh crap, they need me at the office, its important, i'll see you at serena's event later though right?" he asked as she nodded. "yeah, i think thats serena, i'll see you later" she gave him a quick kiss before walking off to the bench.
"serena vanderwoodsen, is that you?" cassie joked as serena looked away from a certain spot. "not too loud! sit" she pulled her friend down to sit next to her as she started to look somewhere. "steven's on a date with some girl" serena muttered under her breath. "i'm confused what's going on?" cassie asked as serena turned to her.
"sorry hi. i was taking a walk when i saw steven going inside a restaurant with some girl, look!" serena pointed as cassie gasped, recognizing the girl. "thats sage!" she exclaimed. "whos sage?" serena asked.
"since josie left me and i wanted to take a break from singing, i started music production and sage is my partner" cassie told serena. "oh, so what do we do?!" serena whispered. "storm in there and ask what the hell is going on, simple" cassie stated as serena glared. "no way, i should calmly ask steven to explain, on the phone" serena pressed her lips together. "okay come on lets call him now" cassie stood up and pulled serena behind a car. "call him s!" cassie said as serena started dialing his number.
