Hey guys, new chapter. I'm not even sure if you guys like this story or not. Oh well...ANYWAY! ON WITH THE CHAPTER!

Astrid's P.O.V (FINALLY!!!! Sorry...continue reading.)

It was now the next day...the day after me and Snotlout had our...argument. I don't particularly want to talk about. But what surprised me was that Hiccup defended me. Of all people, he helped me. Don't worry, I'm not complaining, Snotlout was hurting me.

We only got into an argument because I knew he was texting this other girl. I don't mind but he asked her out. That's why I decided to confront him. I don't regret it either, he deserved what Harry gave to him, but that's not the Harry I know.

You see, he doesn't know this but I and Harry were best friends when we were younger. But something happened then he somehow lost his memory. Ever since that day when he couldn't remember me, I decided to just leave him alone.

I know he has feelings for me but I just can't tell him.

When I decided to avoid him, I ended up in Snotlout's gang. When he asked me out...oh gods...don't even ask me why I said yes to be his girlfriend. I guess I just needed comfort. But I split up with him yesterday so it's okay.

School's going to be a problem now; all my friends probably despise me for what I have done. I won't have anyone to talk to...to sit with at lunch...to do anything with. I'll be an outcast...just like...Hiccup and Fishlegs...

Hiccup's P.O.V

I was just at home, lying in my bed, thinking about the...uh...changes that have happened to me these past few days. It's weird, my senses have improved, and so has my strength and speed. And all for what? Nothing?

God, I'm so confused... It seems my temper has kinda un-improved. By that I mean, I think I can get angry quite easily now, hence when I punched Snotlout when he was about to hit me with a tray and when he was hurting Astrid.

I don't know if that's good or bad...

My thoughts were interrupted when my phone went off. I groaned in frustration, covering my eyes with my forearm. When it wouldn't shut up, I got up and slumped over to my desk where it was located.

"Why won't you shut up?!" I shouted to the phone bringing it to my face. I then widen my eyes when I realise I have a text. It read:

"Can you come meet me? Thanks,

-Astrid"

Okay, I'm confused and surprised at the same time. Confused on why she wants to meet me and surprised because she actually spoke to me...well not in person. I quickly replied telling her I was on my way.

She told me to come to her house and hurry. From that I came concerned. I quickly grabbed my shoes. While I was trying (emphasis on 'trying') to put my right shoe on, I walked out my bedroom and tripped on something. I ended up falling down the stairs.

I landed at the bottom, my limbs all tangled in a mess. "Ow..." I moaned. I saw a mark on both my forearms. "Well, I guess my bruises are going to show up..." I quickly got to my feet, leaving my house and practically running to Astrid's house.

Astrid's P.O.V

I'm glad I messaged Harry to come to mine. I was bored plus I was alone. I still wanted to thank him too. Properly I mean. While I was waiting for Hiccup/Harry, I was curled up in a blanket, starring into space.

I just hope me and him will become good friends.

My thoughts were interrupted when someone knocked on the door. "It's open!" I shouted. Well here it goes...

I saw him stumble into the living room, tripping over his own two feet. I giggled when I saw his embarrassing face. He laughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. I just sighed, shaking my head in amusement.

I looked up to face him and his eyes widened when he saw my glassy eyes.

He quickly rushed over, sitting next to me.

"Astrid? Are you okay?" he asked.

I just smiled at him before pulling him into a tight embrace. My arms went around his neck, burying my head into his shoulders. After a few minutes, I could tell he couldn't decide where to put his hands.

So I just grabbed them and placed them around my waist. I then replaced my arms around his neck, tightening my hold. Before I knew it, I fell asleep in his arms.

Hiccup's P.O.V

I can't believe it. I'm hugging Astrid Hofferson. This is just...wow. I noticed her breaths had become even, she's fallen asleep. Not wanting to be rude, I took her arms off my neck-with much difficulty-and placed her on the sofa before draping a blanket over her.

I kissed her forehead lightly before grabbing a piece of paper and writing her a note. I then walked towards the door, opening it. I took one more glance at Astrid's sleeping figure before walking out the house and towards the forest.

I was now in the middle of the forest, sitting on a stump of a tree. I was just sat in silence not doing anything, except using my senses that had improved. I could smell the wet dew on the grass, the pollen coming from the flowers. I could even smell the fresh breeze.

I could hear wolves howling, badgers, rabbits and hares digging underground. The owls were hooting. It was a beautiful night, not a cloud in sight. The sky was illuminated with stars all over the place. I had a feeling all over my body; it was sore now but not painful.

My body was full of adrenaline. I actually felt like I wanted to run through the forest at my fastest speed. That tingling sensation, it erupted through my body, sending fire into my veins. It spread from the centre of my chest to the tips of my fingers and toes. The feeling was almost painful, making my body ache.

Suddenly, I couldn't sit still for a minute longer. I was standing on my feet in a blaze. I took deep breaths, smelling my area. I growled like a wolf when I smelt a scent I am not familiar with. I tried to calm myself down but instead I found myself pacing back and forth, my growls becoming louder than ever. Whatever my body was reacting to, I had no control over it.

I was now pacing furiously, thinking about what to do. I felt like my human side of me was trapped and an animal had taken over my mind. Not any animal, a wild one. Without thinking, I turned and ran into the depths of the forest. The further I went, the more scents I could smell, especially the one I could not name. I was running like I had never run before. Plants and leaves were swirling all around me.

I unexpectedly stopped, falling to the ground, groaning in pain...
