Abbie
There's a crash somewhere in the house, startling me awake. It's nothing new, but I was hoping since we have two kids in the house, some things would change.
Derek sits straight up, jumping over my body to rush to the door. Apparently we slept sideways and didn't even realize it. I guess the makeup sex was better than I anticipated it to be. My body is deliciously sore, which is weird, because I don't get sore. I haven't been sore since the day we turned.
Pushing that thought away, I roll over and look at Derek pulling sweatpants on. "Don't even bother. They won't go near the girls." He starts to search for his shirt, but I'm wearing it.
"Come back to bed." He ignores me, rushing out of the room, coming to a stop at the railing.
"If it's Kol and Avery, just come back into the room and shut the door. If it's Rebekah and Klaus, don't make eye contact. If it's Rebekah and Avery, which pair of shoes are they fighting over?" I joke, knowing it's always one of those three things.
"And what do I do if it's Klaus and Avery?" I'm up and out of the room before he can blink. Ignoring the ache of my bones, I rush over to the railing to see exactly what he said. Klaus and Avery are screaming at each other.
Why didn't I hear them screaming until now? Their screams should be heard from miles away, but I can just barely make out what they're saying. What the fuck is going on?!
I start for the stairs, not caring I'm in nothing but Derek's T-shirt and underwear. There are much bigger issues and they look ready to kill over them.
Stopping beside them, I look between them. "What is going on?!" Avery looks at me and shakes her head. "Ask him." I look to Klaus, hoping for once he won't be his typical dick self.
"Avery seems to think I'm the one who killed Kol and put Rebekah in another body." I freeze. Kol is dead? Rebekah body jumped?! What the fuck is going on?!
"Who else would've done it?!" Avery argues, their voices starting to fade in and out. "Does it look like I have a witch to do my bidding?!" My vision starts to blur, and my body sways. "Whatever's happening is happening to me." I mumble out, feeling my eyes grow heavier.
Their arguing continues, sounding as if I'm in a tunnel, before the ground shifts beneath my feet and my body falls. My head hits the ground with a thud and my eyes flutter shut.
Why can't I get up? Was I hit? I'm still breathing, but nothing is making sense. I can feel their hands on me, but it's too late. I can feel my body growing colder and the pounding in my head slows along with my heartbeat.

Klaus carefully pulls Abbie into his lap, as Derek comes barreling down the stairs. "What the hell happened?! What did you do to her?" He goes to take her from Klaus, but stops when Freya and Elijah come rushing into the room.
"Stop! Don't move her!" Freya shouts. We all tense, looking at her in Klaus' arms. "What's wrong with her?" My voice shakes. I hate seeing Abbie hurt. It's usually emotionally or mentally. It's nearly impossible for her to be physically hurt for too long.
"It's Dahlia. She killed Kol, body jumped Rebekah and now she's attacking Abbie." They both walk over, Freya brushing Abbie's hair from her face. "She's cold to the touch." She mumbles. "She's as cold as ice and getting colder. What is happening?" Klaus growls, still standing as still as a statue.
"Dahlia must've put her in a hibernation state. Her body temperature will continue to drop, keeping her weak enough to not wake up."
"So she's dead?!" Derek shouts. Freya quickly shakes her head, taking a step back. "Her heart should still be beating, but barely enough to keep her alive. She'll remain like this until I can break the spell."
