Abbie
"Hey, Abs!" Stiles calls out, as soon as he enters the house. "In here." I hear multiple footsteps come through the house, as him and Scott greet Stacy.
Footsteps come downstairs, so I know Isaac is right behind them, meaning the fourth are either Derek or Liam. From how quiet they are, I'd say Liam.
I look up when the four of them walk in, Stiles making a grab for Haidyn, but Isaac slaps his hands away. I smile, shaking my head. "Isaac, don't be rude. Share." His face scrunches up, as he looks at me.
"No. He's too clumsy to hold her." My heart squeezes, and then I laugh. "Then he'll sit down with her." I look at Stiles and motion to the table. He quickly grabs Haidyn, getting a growl from Isaac, as they all sit down at the table.
Well, all but Scott. He comes over, helping me finish up breakfast by making Haidyn a bottle. "Need me to do something?" I look up at him and smile. "No. I've got it. Go sit and I'll have it ready in a minute."
He does as he's told, joining the rest of them at the table. This is our last morning together for a little while. It's only supposed to be two weeks, but I can't help but miss them already.
We're going to New Orleans for a few days, before going to Mystic Falls. It was supposed to be a week at both, but I decided to do more days in Virginia to cut down on our time around Klaus.
While he and I are getting along now, I know it'll be short lived and I'm not wanting to push it for now. Until then, I'm keeping our interactions to a minimum.
Grabbing two plates, I take them over to the table. "Stiles, put her in her high chair so you can eat." I drop the plates in front of Liam and Scott, going back over to grab more.
By the time I'm grabbing mine and Haidyn's, the front door opens again. I quickly double back and grab the extra, holding it out for Derek when he comes into the room.
"Sit. Eat." He blinks at me, but I don't wait for him to question it. He knew Isaac was here and that meant Scott and Stiles would come over, and since Liam follows them everywhere, he would be joining.
I sit down and the door opens again. Okay, I might be able to sit down and eat eventually.
Going into the kitchen, Mason comes in, looking at me and frowning. "I'm sorry I'm late. I overslept." I finish up, passing him his plate. "It's fine. Go eat before you're all late to school." He takes the seat beside Liam, finally allowing me to eat.
"I didn't realize you were feeding everyone." Derek mumbles, shoving another bite in. Isaac cast a look at me, but I ignored it, looking at Derek. "I wanted to cook for them before I left. I didn't realize you were in such a rush."
He looks up at me. "Our flight is at 10."
"And it's 7:15."
"We have to go through security."
"That's why I booked us first class and already checked our bags." His eyes narrow on mine, like he's silently challenging me. "We can leave when they're done and ready to go to school." I add, adding a few bites of avocado to Haidyn's plate, which she just smashes between her fingers.
"What? Are you not going to pack their lunch and drop them off?" I cut my eyes back over to Derek, but it's the clanging of Isaac's silverware that gets my attention. "Why are you a dick to her?! She saved your life." Derek's eyes don't leave mine, but his jaw tightens.
Looking at Isaac, keeping my voice even. "It's fine, Isaac. It's just a little miscommunication."
"Miscommunication or you just letting him run all over you?"
