I can't do this. I can't marry Derek.. that was never a part of the plan. Not my plan at least. I still firmly believe Scott and Derek lost their minds when they told me this, and I hate that I let them talk me into this.
There's too many things he doesn't know about me.. that any of them know about me. I had to hide the damn marriage certificate, because I was scared to not give them my real name and it messed all this up.
Even though I'm against this, if it'll work, I need to try. So I gave the lady my real name and then compelled Derek to forget it and not to ask to see it. This has to work. If this was all for nothing, then I can just divorce him and nobody will ever have to know.
Oh God. Am I actually wanting this to fail now? If this works, it helps everyone. If this fails, it saves me from my family. Oh God.. what will they say when this works and they find out? Will they kill me? Will they kill Derek? What about the baby?
"Oh my God. You look absolutely.." Cora comes into view, taking me in. She came home as soon as Derek called her. We've gotten close this past week, but I can't help but feel a little envious to her. He gets to have his sister here, while I hide this from mine.
"Breathtaking." Lydia finishes with a dreamy sigh, her eyes shining with tears. "Stop. If you start and then I will and I can barely control myself nowadays." My voice gets a little shaky at the end, making me turn around to get away from their happy faces.
