Nikita's expression became serious as she stared at Alya who was seated before her. Seeing the seriousness on Nikita's face Alya cocked her head questioningly.

"You have lived at a time way prior to the Great War three hundred years ago, right?"

"Yes, I was born during the era of the gods."

Alya replied casually. Though she couldn't quite grasp the point of Nikita's sudden question, so she waited for her to continue.

"Th-then... do you know of a woman who goes by the name, Khione?"

Hearing the unexpected name Alya's emerald eyes widened momentarily. Why was she interested in that woman? Alya wondered, though she couldn't come up with an answer, so she asked with an expression which looked truly curious.

"Why are you so interested in that person?"

".... If I recall, I remember reading some historical stories when I was young. It was stated that she was the one who taught my species how to manipulate the ice element."

Nikita explained her ruby eyes glinted faintly. She was always curious about the woman named "Khione" however, the books didn't dive deep into who she was as a person so, now that she had the chance to learn more about that person, she was extremely happy. Her nine silver fox tails wagged violently expressing her happiness. Seeing that Alya heaved a deep sigh.

"Th-that woman also betrayed us along with the demon race."

Alya said her expression became bitter recalling that woman. Khione wasn't created by the god of creation like the spirits, goddess and humans. Instead, she came into existence by the new concept of "Ice" that existed in this world. Nevertheless, she was beautiful woman with a kind personality. Back then Alya was also good friends with her.

Despite not being created by the gods of creation. Due to her immense powers, she was bestowed with the title of "Goddess of Ice" by the god of creation. Even with her own position she was neutral with the development of this world not interfering with its residence. However, once the demon army had attacked after the god of creation had disappeared, she helped the demon army with their invasion.

Back then Alya didn't want to believe the reality, the friend she had trusted for so long turned her back on them. Even now she honestly despises that woman.

Alya tried to calm down the boiling rage aching at her heart as she put on a smile.

"Uhm, I think you should forget about that woman, after the war she disappeared, the only person who might know of what became of her is the goddess of fire, Aetna."

Alya explained.

"Hmm... the goddess of fire, I see if anyone could stop her then surely it's the incarnation of fire itself."

Nikita said nodding her head in understanding. However, her expression seemed a little complex as she pondered over the information that Khione was a traitor. For Nikita who had read many stories about her she found it difficult to believe. But since the one telling her was the spirit of wind "Alya" herself then it wasn't information she could easily dismiss.

"Sigh, I understand... I honestly admire her from all the stories I read but, if what you say is true then, she's also responsible for the many deaths of my clan during the war."

"Oh? So, you do care about you're race after all."

Alya raised an eyebrow as her mouth was curved upwards into a smile, though there was something mockingly about her smile.

"Sh-shut up! I don't care about those fools!"

Nikita exclaimed in denial.

"Fufufu.... It's adorable how you refuse to be honest with your feelings."
