Silence shrouded the room as everyone stared at the silver haired beauty who was casually leaning against the wall behind them with her arms folded beneath her ample breast... 'How did she get in here without our knowledge.' was probably what everyone was thinking.

Seeing the confused gazes of those present Nikita sighed before glaring at Bai who was still gazing at her in wonder.

"Ahem... so you're the one who ordered those bugs to trail us, eh?"

She asked Bai while ignoring the many eyes gathered on her. Bai looked dumbfound at the girl whose beauty was so overwhelming that he could confidently say that he had never met anyone more beautiful in his life. However, his mind was in a mix of both confusion and surprise as his guard was up the entire time and yet, this woman had managed to not only sneak inside his hideout but also got behind him without his noticing.

(Was it a coincidence? No, it can't be... even though she is standing right in front of me I can't sense her presence. It's like she doesn't exist)

He thought while feeling the sensation of cold sweat running down his back. It was the first time he had met someone who could bypass his senses. His instinct was giving him danger warnings. Seeing him being lost in thought Nikita's face contorted in boredom.

"Hey, did you not hear me? I ask why you sent those guys to spy on us. Explained it to me snappy, if you do your deaths will be quick and painless."

Nikita said in a detached tone. Hearing the words of Nikita, silence once again filled the room until someone who couldn't read the atmosphere decided to speak.

"Ah ahaha! For someone with such a pretty face you're rather arrogant, aren't you? Give us a quick and painless death, you say? Don't make me laugh! Each of us here is a high rank adventurer respectively rank D and A and you have the nerve to look down on us, if you get down and Pro-straight now, I'll forgive you."

He said gesturing towards the ground. The corner of his mouth was upturned into a smirk. Judging by the demeanour and personality of Nikita he could tell she was rather prideful. There was nothing more satisfying than to see a proud woman's face when she's beaten and thrown onto the ground, just imagining the frightening look on her face filling him with great elation. Nikita looked at the foolish man who had just insulted her and sneered.

Hearing his words, she was quite angered not only did this man insulted her he also had the audacity to give her order. Suddenly she had the urge to beat him to death but instead she showed a great amount of self-control and heaved a sigh.

"Well?"

She once again asked Bai who was still in his stupor.

"Huh?"

Nikita's voice brought him back to his senses as he cleared his throat.

"Instead of answering your question how about I make a proposal?"

Bai suggested. Hearing his question Nikita raised an eyebrow in interest.

"Oh, let's hear it."

"Why don't you ditch that guy and join me? I'll pay you double of whatever he is paying you."

Bai said his lips curved into a smile. His organization wasn't wealthy by any means but, they do make an impressive amount of income adventuring. He was confident he could get his hands on someone as strong as Nikita with money. However, the latter was disappointed when hearing his proposal, she thought he was going to offer something more interesting she never had any interest in money so, why should she do so now?

"Sigh, I'll pass on your generous offer... I honestly doubt the likes of you could afford half of me."

She said somewhat sarcastically. Bai couldn't help but frown when he heard her blunt refusal.
