All the other paladins and Keith watched as Pidge ruthlessly tackled her crackling big brother down in the corridor further down, both rolling further and further away as neither realized the corridor was sloping. 

No one daring to speak at first as it's been some time since Pidge had assaulted anyone so openly or threatened to bring harm towards them. 

It was a little bit surprising and refreshing to a glance of old Pidge before them all even as she was currently trying to murder her now squealing in delight brother. 

"Why is Pidge attacking Matt?" Keith questioned with an curious eyebrow raised, wondering if he's missed something between the siblings. 

"Do I have to step in to stop an murder? I wanted to nap but when bro code calls I must answer" Shiro asked with a small frown as he watched the Holt's react differently during their fight, one promising pure murder while the other seemed thrilled over something. 

"Matt probably just realized that Pidge's connected to her soulmate and can hear their thoughts already. Her soul link had yet to have awoken when we were still on earth apparently. Seems she was a late bloomer and gained her soul link while we've been in space. I read her diary" Hunk simply replied with a small shrug as he knew his shorter friend had planned to tell her big brother about it and gain his advice over it all. She noted it down in her dairy. 

"Pidgey can hear her soulmate! That's great! Do you think its someone close by?" Lance chered back, brightening up over the news. 

"Why would they be close by? I thought human soulmates thoughts could be heard any distance away" Allura shot back with pure confusion over it all. 

"That's correct princess but the closer you are to your soulmate, the louder their thoughts grow to be in your own head. If your soulmate isn't in the same country, it's a muffled whispered. If they're in the same country but far away, it's a mere whisper. Different city it'd be a quiet voice. Same town, reasonable volume. Same block you live on, a little above acceptable volume. And if they're close by, should be sight of you, their voice would sound like yelling" Shiro calmly explained with an friendly smile as he turned to the princess and knew Alteans didn't hold soulmates like half the races in universe did. 

"Ah, so that is how you humans find your soulmates. By how loud your soulmates thoughts grow to be, correct?" Allura perked up with an pleased nod and finally understanding their soulmates ways better. 

"Yes. Normally once two soulmates have figured that they stand to be each others soulmate, the yelling can be better controlled or even block when beside each other. But that type of control only comes once two soulmates connect together" Shiro added on extra information over it all.

"That is possible?" Allura questioned in surprise. 

"No soulmates would stay together if they were forever stopped with their soulmates voice screaming in their head without break. It's why once a soul link has grown, most soulmates listen out for their soulmate if they're close by to help connect together. If they stay together or not, once they're connected they can live peacefully with their soulmates thoughts in their head" Keith huffed back as he crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head lightly over the Princess thinking people would stay together if they were plagued by screaming thoughts none stop.
