A/N: Facts that you'd need to know over.

The Tank Commander often stands which allows him to see around the tank to direct the Driver where to go. And tells the Gunner where to see the target to destroy it.

During WWII Infantry often rode on the turret & hull to get to their targets easier & faster. (Plus, the added benefit of not having to walk to their destination.)

Keith would always finding himself smirking whenever he heard the sounds of an tank passing by. More so when he knew it was an allied tank, always knowing that if they met an enemy tank, it'd already be shooting at them before they had a chance to spot it.

But he's grown to respect and greatly admire the Tank crew that was always appearing in their time of need, always following them on their own orders and keeping the ground troops protected.

Everyone felt more confident with an tank backing them up.

But what got Keith smiling more often was a member of one the tank crew. The tank crew nicknamed "Lioness" as the three inside had painted their own lioness on the side and renamed the tank as it grew to be their home throughout all the war. The three having upgraded and fixed her up by themselves, never allowing any other mechanic to get their dirty hands on her.

Pidge Gunderson.

A short lad, the driver of the Lioness that had grown rather attached to Keith in their years of fighting side by side.

Hunk Garret the tank commander and Lance McClain the gunner beside the other two members to the trio living within Lioness.

The Tank Crew had been separated from the armoured crew near the start of the war. An ambush had taken out most of the troops and lots of tanks fell with them. It left the trio stuck behind enemy line, being told to merely head towards new locations given to them by radio where allies should be gathered or battling.

Once the trio had finally found people wearing the same colours as them, they stuck with them. Told command where they could shove their orders half the time just to stick with those they've grown to care for as they've travelled together.

Sometimes they'd listen to their given orders, heading towards other regiments in need of an tank. Or heading to smaller battles that were left without back up or help, using the tank like a huge shield and helping their comrades to live to fight another day as they retreat.

All soldiers knew that the trio was much safter in enemy turf than heading back home anytime soon. The three were Gremlins in the war and was a handful of trouble most of the time. They did their jobs well, served their countries but they didn't play so well at being respectful soldiers who did as they were told. If they ever returned home while the war raged on, they'd be disciplined or shot the moment they returned to their country.
