Sir and Lady Oneshots

Matthew Holt Rant..

Okay, those willing.. hear me out. 

Matthew Holt is flipping awesome. 

I love him, he's always been one of my favourites even if I don't write/talk about him much compared to others. 

But he is one of the best Characters in Voltron. 

But he is so overlooked over how truly strong he is. 

As well as the trauma he must have gained in space. 

Sure, Shiro injured Matt to save him from the gladiator ring and Matt was freed from his prison life. 

But Matthew would have been the only human out in space.. serious the only one living almost freely in the universe outside of earth. 

Sam and Shiro would have breathable air in their cells and where they were held as prisoners. They had safe food to eat and if given a pod, the pods were harmless and held no risk of allergies. 

Sam was forced to work long and hard hours against his will.

Shiro was forced to fight to stay alive. 

Both held hardships, fully understand and accept that. 

But think over Matt's life out in space for just over a year. 

Because it's been a year since he went missing before the paladins shot out to space and found the castle of lions. 

And Pidge found her brother like eight months to a year or longer after finding the castle of lions. Meaning.. Matt was the only human around the rebellion and every planet before the paladins became famous. 

Matthew would have had to survive out in space by himself because there was no other human around to warn him over dangers to him. To tell him what was safe or wasn't safe for a human being.

Matthew would have had to find eatable food that was suitable for a human diet and body. That wasn't harmful.

And he would have made notes, because he's a note, he would have made colour coded notes. 

Mentioning over safe foods and liquids for humans.

Mentioning what foods and liquids were safe enough but was unhealthy for the human body or didn't give the body what it was needed.. leaving it useless practically but a nice treat. 

And food or liquids that were dangerous or deadly to human beings. 

As well as planets that held breathable and safe air for humans. 

Leaving notes over what planets were safe or what planets needed a mask or what planets were so bad that not even a mask worked. 

Meaning some planets, Matthew would have started choking to deathly before weakly returning to his ship just in time. 

Plants and alien animals would have needed to be checked out. 

What were safe to be near and what ones would kill you in a certain distance. 

Either by killing you directly or something in their scent/fur/skin/bodies that would kill you instead.

Poison or allergies being noted down too.
