Pidge found herself blinking blankly at her laptop screen as a reminder popped up at random. She knew it was the middle of the night and she was the only one foolish enough to still be awake within the castle. She'd like to say she was wide awake but she was practically on autopilot since two nights ago.

She had a feeling that Lance had talked Hunk into drugging her food once breakfast arrives. Hunk's learnt over the correct alien spices or herbs to use that would safely knock a human out. And why Hunk might feel guilty over knocking her out, Lance would ease his friend's guilt by pointing out how much their friend needed sleep. More so by reminding him over that one Garrison incident that she'd never live down.

And if Hunk nor Lance decide to simply drug her, again. She's rather sure that Shiro will arrive during the early hours of tomorrow night and carry her to bed like a child. As well as purposely getting photos taken over him carrying her like a baby to use as blackmail to force her to stay in bed.

Or worse, Keith will be called out. Keith had survived life without his father before social workers took him to the orphanage by routine alone. He ate well, slept the needed hours and cared for himself on the inside and outside. Meaning, Keith would stubbornly hunt her down, even within the vents or outside the castle, because yes, she has tied herself to the castle and floated outside to escape the others in the past. But Keith would find her, drag her to the closest sleep able object and pinch a nerve that'd knock her out. Guarding her sleeping body for the rest of the night to make sure she didn't wake early and sneak off.

It was embarrassing.

But it proved she gained a second family with Voltron. She felt like she's gained new parents and siblings and cousins all over again. Felt like she was cared for and looked after instead of a mere comrade that was needed.

And that's why she found herself staring down at the simple reminder that sat in the corner of her screen.

Apparently, it was now easter day.

She held no clue over how much time might have passed on the actual date on earth but her laptop had remembered. It was reminding her that Easter had now arrived and everyone would be expecting a chocolate goodie as they woke.

Pidge was going to become the easter bunny.

She may be a bird but she was going to evolve for the sake of her second family and spoil them with the treats they all deserved.

It wasn't hard to start coming up with an wild and creative plan. She was in much need of sleep and her mind was close to the insane side of life. Her brain truly was in danger of making her turn crazy.

But the risk of losing her mental state would be worth it if she could make all of her family smile and fill the joy that the Easter bunny's treats were meant to give them.

Fiddling with her tools, putting spare parts together and bringing her creations to life once more. Laughing like an mad scientists as she heard the first chirp coming for her clockwork chicks, watching the beak open and close as it made it's sound.

Letting her hands fiddle and design all that she needed with her halo. Not being a pro artist but being good enough to draw her designs and a few other art pieces when needed. Even if it left her a bit brain numb for an hour afterwards.

Her eyes drained and strained, her energy none existing as the morning crept closer and closer until she was finally stumbling towards the corridors holding all bedrooms.

Face planting a few times as she went to lean down and sneakily leave behind her little helpers before forgetting just how tired she was and slumping forward instead. Slowly crawling towards her bedroom door and dragging her own body inside to finally sleep once her magic was done.

Came morning, her fellow paladins all woke to a sudden surprise outside their doors. All standing in the doorways, alarmed and surprised. Some more casually squatting down and twisting the key to the clockwork robotic chicks painted in their personal lion colours.

Soon chasing after the tweeting and chirping birds as they took running elsewhere, all leading in different directions and having the paladins start to fill with adventure over the chase. All coming across rooms that held a small bit of attachments to themselves within the castle.

Finding an metal egg laying in the centre, mostly painted in their own lion colours but with the other lion colours decorating it with Easter style.

Holding their precious eggs and tapping the button left on the top. Jolting when he egg opened up into six before a small beam of light shot up. An halo of an image growing into the mini screen and suddenly their Easter treat was shown to them.

The Easter Bunny was hopping around drawn locations over their favourite places.

For Keith, he watched as the easter bunny raced around the desert, hopped around the place he first called home.

For Hunk, he watched as the easter bunny hopped around his mother's kitchen, a few items in the wrong place as Pidge had worked on the picture by a single memory alone from long ago.

For Lance, he watched as the easter bunny raced around an farm. A few animals watching the bunny hop around and a few flowers and crops swaying by the easter bunny's speed.

For Shiro, he watched as the eater bunny had hopped and stamped it's big feet on the Holt's family dinning table. The whole picture showing the night he first was welcomed into their home and sat down to eat with them. Unofficially being adopted by both Sam and Colleen that night and unknown to them, giving Shiro the first feel over family life due to his own orphan years.

The Easter Rabbit, well, the Easter Pidgeon, had reached them all even out in space.

And Pidge was left with furrowed eyebrows as she finally work after lunch to an green clockwork chicken outside her door. Twisting the key and watching it flutter and come alive, leading her away as she had made all the others do.

Chasing after it until she found her own egg, laid in the corridors of the lion's hangars.

Scooping her egg up curiously, glancing around for anyone watching before tapping the button.

And the Easter bunny had arrived in her own favourite place.

Pidge smiled warmly as she watched the Easter bunny hop along the Holt's rooftop, his ears flopping and pointing towards the stars above.

The Easter Bunny hadn't forgotten to bring anyone their treats this year after all.
