Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a tiny kingdom, known as Waterfall Kingdom. 

Peaceful, prosperous and rich in romance and tradition. 

Here, in a stately chateau, there lived a widowed gentlemen and his young son, Matthew and his little daughter, Katie. 

Although he was a kind and devoted father, a man who worked hard and treated all graciously. 

Being admired for his gentle soul and hiving his beloved children every luxury and comfort he could. Still, he felt that his daughter still needed a mother's care.

His son held the considerate heart his wife once held and gained many memories with but his daughter, she would live without the touch of a mother grace and love for all her life. He knew he had to act for her benefit and try finding love once more, hoping to grace his daughter with a mother's love again. 

And so, he married again, choosing his second wife a women of good family and a widower herself, Honerva. She held three daughters and a son, all from the past three marriages in her life.

Her youngest two daughters, the twins, Drick and Ladnok was the same as Katie herself. While her oldest daughter, Narti, a girl born death and now stood mute, was older than Matthew by three years. Her only son, Lotor, was the same age as Matthew. 

The marrige wasn't planned to happen as fast as it did. Sam own children only being seven and ten at the time. Sam was planning to search for a wife, to fall in love slowly and more carefully as he knew his heart would always truly only belong to his first wife, Colleen. 

He needed to fall in love with someone who understood his pain and lost and wouldn't turn bitter to know that his heart will always hold his first wife before any other wife in his life. And that's how he chose upon Honerva. 

She ran an Inn along one of the paths he travels for his word. He ends up staying in a room during his travels and got to know all four of her children rather well. Along with Honerva herself. Both would share a glass of wine and drink over their lost and struggles as they stand as single parents. Both admitting how much they loved their children and the future they had wish to bring for them. 

It wasn't a perfect love but the pair was rather content with each other and could see happiness in their future if they wedded. So wedded they did. 

Sam asking time to tell his children first as he wished for his daughter to hold a mother again but needed to check her own heart was healing and ready for a step-mother in her life. He knew his son was understand and only wish for his father happiness making Sam not worry much over his son's thoughts on the matter. He felt lucky to have such smart and kind hearted souls for children. 

"Are you sure they'll like us?" Katie anxiously asked her father as she stood in her simply green and white dress. She had a lilac headband pushed into her hair, a headband her father chose from his travels last year and always knew both green and purple suited his daughter well.
