Keith knows better to try and be quiet as he enters the room, been warned plenty of times by his brother and their friends over living as normal as possible once the bundle of joy arrives. That if they keep a quiet house, the blessing given to them would always startle awake at any type of sound.

So, he strolled into the room that was made into his new-born daughter. Neither him nor his wife have chosen a name just yet, a few thought over but both wanted to see what name might suit her best once she was in their arms.

And he couldn't help the smitten look filling his expression as he looks towards his completely drained but stunning wife as she sits in the rocking chair with their just under a day old daughter.

He's came to help place their daughter back into her crib now she's been fed her bottle. The bottle he happily took from his stubborn wife who demanded to stay awake to feed their precious child once  the feeding was over with. Having proudly rinsed the bottle out to be able to wash it better later on.

"Seems the promised girl had finally arrived" Keith commented with an smirk as he looked towards the two most loves people in his lives. One already half asleep and his wife already basically dozing in the chair.

"It was written in the stars since the first vampire was born" Katie tiredly muttered back, shaking her head to wake herself up a little more.

"Who'd have assumed she'd be born by an human father though?" Keith jokingly asked as he carefully scooped his tiny baby who had adoring dribble of blood in the corner of her mouth as her mother always has after feeding too.

"Fate must have planned for it" Katie pointed out, wincing in discomfort as she shuffles in the chair. Still nowhere near recovered and knowing she'd be happy lazing about their home while her husband does the most baby care between them.

"I'm rather certain that fate had meant for her to be born by a vampire. She was meant to bring peace after all" Keith reminded his darling wife as he places their daughter in her crib, smiling down at her. He knew all babies looked weird when first born, knew they'll grow to look like a parent or both parents later on in life but he still found her to be perfect.

"And she is" Katie proudly announced as she stares warmly towards her two favourite people in the world. Her daughter already dozed off and her husband staring adoringly at her.

"You've got baby brain it seems" Keith playfully sighs as he shakes his head lightly, knowing she was speaking crazy.

"You haven't worked it out yet?"  Katie asks in surprise, eyes wide as she stared towards him and realizing he really held no clue over the real meaning.

"What are you talking about?" Keith questions back as he walks over to her, ready to help take her back to their own bed in their own room. Knowing she wasn't going to be able to do much for herself for the next few weeks, maybe months. He wasn't sure if her healing ability would quicken labour and pregnancy recovery.

Katie stays silent, refusing to allow herself be carried as it wasn't as fun or charming as books made it seem. Their doorframes were a little too small for her to be carried through them and she was sore and stiff. Being scrunched up between two arms weren't comfortable at all.
