"I CAN'T RUN ANY FASTER! I've got little legs" Katie screamed up at the heavens as she could still hear the desperate pleads of the stars above even was rain poured down from above and mostly blinded her as she ran as quickly as she could.

A startled yelp escaped her lips as she tripped over fallen down tree when she was meant to have jumped over it and slammed face first into the side of a passing carriage. Groaning in pain as she was sent flying backwards after the direct hit and landed hard on her back.

She weakly slapped at her own face to check her glasses were still on her face and while the rain and blurted the glass at the current moment, she was glad they weren't broken or flung of her face.

Groaning in pain like a normal human being would after going face first into the side of a speeding carriage, Katie sat herself up. She felt the world spin a little and didn't even bother to check whoever was moving towards her. She could see in the corner of her eye that the carriage had stop a couple of meters down the road, clearly the driver checking what or who they had hit.

The only moment she felt her brain full come back to the land of the living was when she was suddenly back laying down flat and holding her hands up in surrender towards the stranger. Their muddy boot pressing down on her stomach and the tip of their sword purposely digging in just under her chin, ready to end her life in the blink of an eye.

She wasn't sure who she should send her complaints towards if this was how she'd die, either to god or the stars but she was sending a compliment to someone later. Her eyes finally focusing on the stranger and her breath felt trapped in her throat for a whole new version of fear. They were giant, muscle's trying to rip free from the rich and fancy clothing. They were huge for everything that her eyes could see and the murderous look in their eyes made her truly understand that they've killed plenty of times before she ever crossed their path.

"If Lotor insists on sending a boy to do a man's job-" Sendak snarled out as he lifted his sword, holding it with both arms and preparing to stab it through her throat before being cut off.

"No, no, now wait, please! I don't even know who Lotor is, I swear. I just need a lift. My brother is in need of my help in the next town over" Katie blurred out in a frantic rush, feeling the tip of the blade just inches from her throat from where she was able to cut the man off in time. She wasn't even going to try and correct him over her gender, not when he had assumed she was an assassin just off the bat. She was happy keeping any identical secrets from him as she could, no matter how weak or pathetic she might seem.

"Don't lie to me, boy! I have killed men for less" Sendak snapped back, anger sparkling in his eyes as he pushes his sword a little closer for her to feel the tip against her skin in warning.

"Sir please just look at me. Look at me. I'm unarmed and tiny. Please. Do I truly look like an assassin to you. I can't even jump over a fallen log" Katie begged desperately for him to get a better look at her and see that she wouldn't be able to stand as an assassin. Normally she'd be rather upset or bitter over people commenting on her height or lack of strength but right now it might save her life and that's what she needed.
