Named Side Ship: N-7 x Matthew. Sam x Colleen.

Colleen couldn't help but fill emotional as she looked towards her two children from a distance. Taking notice over how much they've grown since earth knew over the Universal war. That her children still held baby fat to their round faces and were the skinniest people alive.

Her husband had already admitted that his family genes were full of late bloomers and their children seemed to have gained such genes. It left Colleen adoring and cherishing the baby fat and smaller body frames so much more as she knew she got to keep them longer in her children then other parents did.

And now, they both stood older and had finally had their glows up. Their growth had caught up and they were left looking like actual adult.

It left her with tears in her eyes, the war had been won long ago and she had finally gained all her family back. Just to lose those extra years of baby fat and tiny frames that she could squash and hold close.

It's how both her son and daughter, both stubbornly living in their family home even as they stood in their twenty. Matthew in his later twenties while Katie had just barely made it into her twenties. Even N-7 was happy to stay spending her future with Matthew and stay living in his old childhood room.

Colleen had a tough time understanding she was never gaining grandchildren from her oldest child. She understood that N-7 was an alien form of android but she was kinda still an humanoid robot. N-7 reproducing ways wouldn't match up with an humans, she could match up to reproduce with certain alien races but humans were built a but differently. It meant the couple happily stayed together and knowing they'd have to adopt if they ever desired children of their own.

But it still left Colleen grieving, to know her son had fought hard in the war and was mistreated by the Galra just to have his choice to start a family taken from him. She hated that neither N-7 nor Matt could start a family together due different biology. She knew her family deserved a break and fate didn't seem to want to give it.

For any other chance of having mini Holt's running about and creating a new devoice in their terrible toddlers phases were wiped away. Colleen knew that it was near impossible for her daughter to ever birth her a grandchild. Even if she was dating someone, Colleen assumed her daughter would be dumped or too caught up in learning the unknown that a family would be shoved out of her life for good.

But back to the main point. It's how both her children had found her curled on the family couch and crying over old family photos over her children. All sharing an laugh as they came across an very old photo.

Matthew and Katie looking so tiny and weak while trying their best to flex and look strong. Both have shoved up the burger rolls up their tops to gain themselves a "six" pack and an "four" pack that day. Wanting to look as beefed up as one of their distant cousins looked.  Hot dog rolls taped to their upper arms to try and seem like they held some muscle there too.

Sam in the background, grinning proudly over his two children using their brains to feel more confident in their own bodies. To skip wasting time in an gym and give themselves bigger bodies within ten minutes of thinking instead.

It left Matthew and Katie sharing an amused look, both having grown muscle during the war and somehow kept it since. Reminding them both that they weren't the smallest or weakest person in an group anymore but having some of their own physical strength to brag over.

It left Colleen standing amused the next day in the garrison, having gone to eat lunch with her husband and found her children in an flexing war. Both having taped a pack of six packet rolls to their stomachs since they didn't have much of any packs on their stomach. Their stomachs were still thankfully squishy, Colleen was happy over that small fact at least.

But neither had taped hot dog rolls or tools to any other part of their body. Both showing off and goofing around. The other ex paladins who were at the Garrison for their own reasons of business were left to just stare and watch. Until Keith and Shiro shared an smirk and rushed over to join.

The four flexing their given and hard earned muscles.

Hunk merely shaking his like an tired parent, sharing an smile with Colleen as both stayed watching the others fool around. Laughing as Sam and Lance had grabbed a few pens and started drawing on better muscles on themselves so they could join in on the fun.

Many new photos would be added to the albums the next day.

And as the years passed, Collen had unknowingly created an new Holt tradition once Christmas comes along.

Because for the rest of her life, she and everyone else befriended by her children gained a personalized Christmas card every year.

Matthew and Katie always standing dead centre with their partners beside them and all four would be flexing. As the years passed, partners turned into wife and husband. More years moved to the Holt family posing on their own before adding their adopted children. The McClain posing together before posing with their own children once they're born.

Colleen gaining an collection over silly family flexing photos in her little box she kept them protected within. Laughing and cherishing each Christmas card given to her by both her children as the years passed.

Only smiling more when the rest of the paladins jumped to join such an tradition. Leaving her to stand as a second mother or grandmother figure towards the Shirogane, Kogane and Garret families as the years pass.

Being surprised when the Holt's, McClain's, Shirogane, Kogane and Garret families all joined together to flex together with their families. Sharing a single Christmas card design as a rare treat during the big numbers of years passing.

All Colleen knew was as she missed her children's baby fat, she learnt to cherish their growth as the years quickly passed her by.
