Pidge was doing Keith a favour by sneaking around the blades base and hacking into their system. She didn't enjoy staying hidden inside of Red while her best friend walked off to meet the blades leader and hopefully gain them as allies. 

Most wouldn't sneak around future allies home and hack into their computers but it was more of a personal favour than doing it due to holding no trust in the blades. 

The moment Keith saw the symbol over Ulaz's chest, he knew his mother was linked to the blades somehow. And Pidge, being his best friend, offered up to hack the data from the blades in hopes of finding his mother. 

And she gained the needed data too. 

With all the blades mostly keeping an eye on Keith, leaving the lion locked in one of their landing zones. They didn't think there were any other threats about and that left Pidge to easily wonder the halls, completely lost, before using her hacking skills. 

She just had to return to red, keeping out of sight from cameras and members all around the base. She was doing so well and she was almost back to Red before finding herself dangling in the air with a very big and scary Galran glaring down at her. 

Giving her best innocent smile towards the member in hopes he'd just drop her and walk away. 

It didn't work, she soon was kidnapped and taken to the control room. Sending a wave to a sweaty and worn out Keith who just completed some Blade test by himself. 

All the other blades members just glancing between their leader and the tiny human being held as if she weighted nothing to her galran capture. 

Kuro, she got his name to be.

She had a feeling that he might have been Shiro's younger twin that he's been searching for since he was freed from the Galra prison with Matt. The main problem being during their escape was that Shiro was sent to earth while Matt was sent to the rebels, their pods being mixed up. 

"Think Shiro will let me keep him after the war?" Pidge asked as she shuffled around from being held and ended up sitting on Kuro's right shoulder, playing with his Galran ears. 

"Promise not to make something self destruct for the next couple of weeks and he'll offer his brother up on a golden plate" Keith replied with a small shrug as he saw no problem with it. 

"I hope you like peanut butter because I can't cook anything else" Pidge grinned back at Kuro who merely lifted his eyebrow at her. 

"Can I throw her back out to space?" Kuro asked as he turned his attention towards Kolivan before eyeing up the space hatch in the room. 

"...No" Kolivan slowly answered, actual thinking over it first. He didn't want others learning that someone was able to sneak around their base so easily. But he had a feeling many would disapprove over killing a paladin of Voltron. 

"You hesitated. I could throw her out while you're hesitation. Write up like an accident" Kuro smirked back as he started heading towards the space hatch without a second thought. 

"Did you find my mom?" Keith called out, needing to know if she found his mom or not. He wasn't sure if she'd gain brain damage being thrown out to space until Red picked her up for him. 

"You bet I did! Even know where she's working undercover" Pidge grinned back, sending Keith thumbs up as she completed their real mission for coming here. 

"Please don't expose my best spy" Kolivan scolded back. 

And that's how Kuro found himself kidnapped by the person he had kidnapped earlier. 

Though, he rarely complained over being captured all his life by his mate whenever he tells the story to their cubs.
