(Melinda Desmond) awoke in a darkened room and the lights were all off the last thing I remembered before everything went dark was my ex husband breaking into my house, Good you're finally awake my dear I then looked up and I saw him, I could feel the anger begin to rise in my body.
WHAT do you want Donovan? I snapped at him my my such a temper on you and dare I say it doesn't suit you my dear he finished with a snarl, I don't care do you not remember that you aren't supposed to be with a mile of me! If you must know that I have been watching from the shadows after my supposed death and I can't wait to relish in the pain that I will inflict on you and our disgrace of a son.
I won't give you any satisfaction while you torture me you bastardi, Donovan walked around the table before he slapped me hard across the face but I didn't even flinch, I'm not afraid of you and I was so happy when I filed for the divorce papers all those years ago I said with a smirk.
You don't scare me Donovan I said with unwavering determination in my voice, I'm going to make you scream my dear he said before punched me square in the face, little did he know that Wise put a tracker on me many many years ago and I knew that help would be on it's way soon so I just have to keep him distracted and busy until help arrives.
(Nightfall) Handler informed me that Melinda's GPS tracking device has been activated again and it was currently pinging off a cellular tower in Eastern Ostania and so I'm on way to HQ to get debriefed before she sends me off on possible a retrieval mission, We are all starting to worry for her health and safety.
I entered into Handler's office and she looked up at me and she said Fiona I'm so glad that you can on such short notice! It isn't a problem boss so what's the situation with Melinda? Well as of two days ago Melinda's tracker has been active and she is very very far from home and I need you to go and retrieve her and make sure she's alright Fiona! And if need be you are authorized to eliminate anyone who causes her harm.
It will done boss I then stood up from the chair and then I headed out of Wise HQ before I headed to my car before I headed on a long road trip to get to Melinda before any harm comes to her, My maternal instincts and alarm bells are ringing at the concern for my good friend, I have a horrible feeling in my stomach.
Melinda is a member of our extended family and so this hits home very hard, I just hope that I'm not too late to save her.
