(Anya Forger) I hustled into my weekly cooking class and our instructor Madame Jean Marie said Ah Mrs. Forger you're late again I'm sorry for my tardiness madame traffic was bad getting here, Madame Jean held up her hand thus silencing me and then said I don't care what your excuse is Mrs. Forger I expect you to be here on time and be ready to learn Yes ma'am I said as I walked to my cooking station.

Madame Jean then continued to speak saying Now as I was saying prior to Mrs. Forgers arrival today we're going to be learning how to cook Steak au Poivre with Red Wine Sauce your instructions are right in front of you and if you do have any questions or concerns please let me know, a collective of Yes ma'am's resonated through the room.

You all may begin with your recipes Madame said before she sat down at her desk to make plans for next week's class, I then began to gather my ingredients together before I started to mix the ingredients together, I hope Dad is doing well on his continuing mission though we all do miss him very much, I actually have been helping take care of Kassander and Violet during the day while mom works.

Though it can be challenging at times and both of them have made me want to rip my hair out at times but at the end of the day I truly love my younger siblings, Mom told me last week that she is pregnant again with another sibling of ours, I hope that Damian is having a good day.

Once I had finished preparing the food I put it into the oven at my station and once I had set the oven to 425 degrees and while it cooked I added the wine sauce into the sauce pan and once I added the wine sauce into the pan I started to wait for the steak to cook, After Seven minutes of cooking the steak was done and I threw it into the pan where I proceeded to chop up the steak and then I mixed it into the sauce.

Once I was done preparing I rang the bell on my stations top and Madame came over to me with a small smile and she asked me All Done Mrs. Forger? Yes I am finished with preparing my meal Madame I then gave her a fork to try my steak au poivre with wine sauce, I stood nervously as Madame ate her piece of steak, I'm so afraid that she would hate my meal.

Yum this steak is well done Mrs. Forger I can taste the red wine sauce mixed into the steak, the steak still needs to be cooked for a few more minutes but besides that everything else tastes great Mrs. Forger, keep up the good work my dear and then she gently squeezed my shoulder.

Thanks so much Madame I really appreciate any advice especially coming from you since you are my cooking idol, Madame then walked back to her desk I then put the steak back into the oven for a few more minutes before I was one hundred percent sure that was finally cooked through, I can't wait to make this for the family some night.
