Bad feeling by Jagwar Twin (Oompa Loompa)~
Evan came back a few hours later, covered in blood.
Adam had already dried off the children after making sure that the kids had played to their heart content. They had all pruning skin and were resting huddled together before the lake. The kids were dozing off, their head resting on the warrior's shoulders.
Seeing his lover coming back in such a state, Adam could see that he had a great time with the villagers. He could tell that the giant wasn't injured, the blood not his. Still, he didn't want Blaze and Ash to see their father like that, nor did he want them to feel the still murderous aura of the man.
Evan had tried to cool off before coming back, but he still had a bloody aura around him.
Adam smiled at him before nodding toward the water. Evan understood the message, stripping down and standing proudly in his naked glory before his partner before diving into the lake. Adam chuckled softly at his boyfriend's cheekiness. The man had taken advantage of the fact that the children were asleep to show off his semi-hard shaft, the size of it impressive no matter how many times he saw it, even when not fully hard.
Adam cursed at the giant in his mind for making him horny.
Evan knew that he needed to stay seated with the kids, and that he couldn't join him for some alone time. Ash wasn't feeling secure enough to be left alone, even with Blaze. Also, even though they hadn't been attacked yet by monsters, the forest was far from safe for children.
So instead of satisfying his desires, Adam only enjoyed the show that Evan was putting on, flexing his muscles as he washed off. The warrior licked his dry lips, swearing that he would find an opportunity soon to pounce on his lover and have his insides rearranged.
Evan ended his little show a little while after, not wanting the children to wake up and see him naked. He still had some sort of feeling of responsibility.
He changed his clothes and helped Adam dress up their two little sleepy boys. The children grumbled, but were pretty compliant, making it easier to dress them.
Adam and Blaze had a matching outfit, mostly black with orange details, while Evan and Ash had on white clothes with a blue theme.
Adam nodded to himself after seeing the results. They may not be much fans of design and such, but they could make outfits match and make them look like a cute family of four.
Adam wanted to make sure that they were in their best shape to meet the Aleksy's tribe.
They didn't know exactly when they would meet the tribe, as the Aleksy's members were nomadic. They didn't have a precise camp base, which meant that they could encounter them today, in two weeks or even two months in the worst case scenario.
Still, they could only trust the map made by gathering information about the tribe's past camps.
After admiring his work, the warrior convened a little family meeting. The four of them sat around a map, Adam explaining the journey that was left before reaching the tribe's supposed camp. He also took the necessary time to explain the situation to Ash so that the snake could understand why they were going there and who they would be meeting.
Caution was important when dealing with the Aleksy's tribe, they weren't exactly the most welcoming, even less with strangers.
Once he made sure that everything was clear, Adam organized their bags, dividing their things into two bags, one for him and one for Evan. The giant had taken a few things from the village, which made a reorganization needed.
They didn't hide the things from Ash, simply telling him that Evan had gone back to get necessities. They didn't mention the state of the village now, but Ash nodded with a strange look, seemingly far too smart to not understand the implication. They had, after all, parted on bad terms with villagers.
Those ungrateful bastards wouldn't have given supplies for free like that.
Still, the snake didn't comment.
After making sure that they were all ready, they were ready to depart from their temporary camp.
Adam crouched before Blaze, seeing the desire in the fox's eyes to climb on his back. He had given piggy rides to the child a few times in the past, the fox always enthusiastic about Adam running fast with him on his back, the wind ruffling his hair and adrenaline pumping the blood in his veins.
Blaze didn't even need to ask anymore, Adam picking up the signs easily.
Once seated comfortably on the warrior's back, Blaze spread out his arms, imagining that he was an eagle soaring free in the sky as Adam started to walk fast. He laughed out loud as the warrior ran circles in the forest, always making sure to come back in Evan and Ash's vicinity.
As the two men enjoyed their father and son bonding moment, Evan looked down at Ash, seeing the child engrossed in watching them. The giant noted the way the kid bit his lower lips, rubbing his fingers together as if wanting to feel the wind passing through them like Blaze was doing. The giant followed the determined path while glancing at the snake, thinking about how to approach the shifter.
Finally not wanting to wait anymore and not having reached a conclusion on how to ask the kid, Evan took the matters into his own hands.
Like one would do with a kitten, the giant took the child's back of his shirt in one hand and lifted him. Ash let out a startled yelp as he suddenly found himself above the ground, his feet dangling under his suspended body.
His slender tail wrapped around his legs and his pointed ears dropped down from the fear.
Evan once again confirmed that he really needed a guide on how to treat children.
Hey dear readers, Ash may be a snake shifter, but he mostly acts like a cat shifter.
