They made their way hand in hand across the car park when suddenly Siobhan stopped dead. Her eyes stay fixed on a tall man with dark hair standing next to a range rover. She can't help but begin to panic. Her grip on Jamie's hand tightened slightly, not enough to hurt him. "B-back to the car." She mumbled to him before turning on her heels and rushing back.

Siobhan didn't even strap Jamie in. She just got him inside before locking the doors. Her eyes unvoluntarily stayed fixed on the dark-haired man. By this point, her hands were clenched into fists, trying to keep herself grounded, but no matter what her mind kept slipping back to old memories,  the ones she tried to forget. "Bonnie, are you okay?" Jamie asked as he watched his step mothers actions from the back of the car. "Bon Bon?" He questioned nervously.

When the young boy didn't get a response from Siobhan, he climbed into the front seat before finding Siobhans phone out of her bag. He stayed quiet while searching for her phone. Once he found it, he unlocked it, finding his mum's contact.

The phone rang twice before Vivian’s voice rang out in the silence of the car. "Mummy," Jamie spoke before his mum even had the chance to. "Hey, little man. Are you okay?" She asked quietly before hearing her son take a slightly shaky breath. "Bonnie made us get back in the car before we went to the ice cream shop. Mummy, she is shaking and won't talk to me, " He told her as a couple of tears fell down his cheeks. "Mummy, i think she is scared." He sniffled. Viv listened intently to her son before taking a deep breath. "Okay baby, mummy is on her way, sweetheart. I will be there really soon. Do you want to keep talking to me?" She questioned while starting her car. "No, Mummy, i see you soon. I want to talk to Bonnie, " he whispered softly before looking at Siobhan. He reached his hand out, placing it on her arm, but it just made her flinch away. "Bonnie won't hold my hand," he whispered as his voice broke slightly. "Listen to mummy. Bonbon is just a bit scared right now, but I'm on my way, and soon she will give you big hugs again. We both love you so much." Viv explained quietly while driving faster.

With that, Jamie nodded before pressing the red button and looking at Siobhan. He noticed the distant look on her face before looking in the same direction, but the four year old was just left with more questions. "I love you, bonnie." He told her quietly while getting comfortable in the front seat, waiting for Vivian to arrive.

Minutes later, a blue golf pulled into the parking spot next to them. "Mummy is here." Jamie said excitedly while pressing the button to unlock the doors. Viv climbed out of her car before slowly opening Siobhans door. Seeing the state the blonde haired woman was in broke her heart, but she had to stay strong for her son.

"Hey, little man.  Mummy is so proud of you." She told him confidently with a smile as he smiled back. "Listen to me.  Im going to sit in the car and talk to bonbon, but she might have some big emotions. She will be okay, but she might cry or maybe shout. Just remember she loves you loads." Vivian spoke quietly before kissing the top of the little boys head. "If you feel scared, you can sit in mummys car and have my phone for a bit." She offered, but he shook his head. "I want to give Bonnie a hug when she's okay." He told his mum before climbing into the back of the car, viv sliding into the passenger seat.

Viv moved slowly, taking Siobhan's hand in her own. The slightest touch made Siobhan flinch, but viv didn't move away. "Siobhan,  it's okay. I'm here.  You are safe." She whispered while squeezing her hand gently. "D-dont," She mumbled nervously, this being the first time she had spoken since she spotted the man. "No one is going to hurt you." She whispered while keeping calm. Viv knew that her son was watching intently and didn't want to frighten him. Siobhan tried to pull away from Vivian's grasp, but it didn't work. "Let go, let go, let go!" She repeated, getting louder and louder.

Jamie watched with wide eyes. "Mummy, let her go." He spoke quietly as tears formed in his eyes. "It's okay, sweetheart, come here." She whispered while reaching her hand out to him. Jamie waisted no time, quickly climbing into his mother's lap. "Dont make her more scared, please." He whispered before holding onto Viv tightly, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"It's okay, mummy has got you. You are okay. Shhh, little man." She cooed calmly while running her nails through his hair. The sound of his cries filled the car, snapping Siobhan out of her trance. "Jamie?" She questioned anxiously as she looked at the little boy wrapped in his mothers arms.

"Vivi, is he okay?" Siobhan asked quietly to her hands shook. Vivian said nothing, reaching her hand out to Siobhan. The blonde moved slowly, holding her tightly. "Little man, Bonnie is okay." She whispered while looking between the two. "Darling,  you had a panic attack, so he called me, but he got scared that i would hurt you when i didn't let go of your hand." Viv mumbled quietly before moving Jamie to look at him.

She sighed as she noticed her son had fallen asleep against her. "Bons, what happened?" Viv asked her softly. "I thought i saw him, and i panicked. I was scared for little man. I never meant to upset him. I promise." She whispered before leaning against Vivian's shoulder. "I will call Sara and get her to drop my car home. Let's get you both home."

Once they get home, Jamie walks into the living room behind Siobhan and Vivian, his favourite teddy tucked safely under his arm. He waited patiently for viv to move back slightly before moving closer.  "Bonbon, when i feel sad, Ted makes me feel better. I dont want you sad." The little boy whispered before pulling the blanket back from Siobhans shoulders before tucking his teddy in next to her. "Ted, help you." He told her before clumsily wrapping his arms are the blonde.

Siobhan smiled at Jamie. "Come and have cuddles, sweetheart." She whispered while helping him onto the couch, tucking him under the blanket next to her. "You were so brave today, little one, thank you." She told him as he held onto her. "I didn't want you sad. Mummy always mades you happy." He told her innocently, making the blonde smile.

The pair stayed cuddled up on the couch together, the blanket around them both as they watched toy story Jamie's favourite. After a while, viv walked into the room. "Come on, you two,  dinner is ready." She spoke calmly.

It was different today. Usually, Jamie would jump up and race everyone to the table, but today, he just rolled over and held onto Siobhan. "Little man, dinner is ready." Viv repeated before crouching down next to him. "No mummy, me stay with bonbon." He whispered before hiding his head into her chest. "We are all going to have dinner," she told him again, but he shook his head, staying put

As much as Vivian knew that her son was trying to help, she couldn't help but feel anger start to rise. "Jamie, dinner is ready." Viv tells them both with a fake soft smile, reaching her hand out to help her partner up. Jamie tries to keep hold of Siobhan, but isn't strong enough. "Mummy, I will look after Bon bon. Not you." He tells her confidently. "Okay, you look after her." She told him before ruffling his hair. He stood up before pulling Siobhans hand, trying his best to pull her along behind him.

Later that evening, both women tucked Jamie into bed, giving him goodnight kisses. After a while, Siobhan quietly left the room like she always did. Giving Viv some time with her son. "Mummy promise to look after bonbon while I sleeping?" He asked while fighting to keep his eyes open. "I promise, sweetheart,  Bonnie will be okay. I will give her cuddles." She whispered while kissing the top of his head.

Little did they know, Siobhan could hear Jamie talking to Viv. It caught her off guard completely because no one had ever cared for her the way they did. She slips into hers and Vivian's shared bedroom, waiting for her partner.

When Viv finally walks into their bedroom, she can tell that something was on Siobhans mind. "Why does Jamie like me? None of the kids at the nursery like me, and im not anything special?" She questioned as Vivian sat down quietly next to her.

"He adores you. He really does. You are the only person that i have had around who has loved him back. His dad was never really his dad. On top of that, none of my old friends have ever really paid attention to him. Truthfully, he used to ask if he was the reason my ex treated me the way he did. So basically, no one has loved him the way you do. He really does feel safe with you."

Once Vivian had explained everything, she looked at Siobhan just in time before the blonde haired woman threw herself into Vivian's arms. "I will forever love him, i promise." She whispered as the two women held each other.
